The Terminator Sega Genesis Game Advert (UK 1992) (Audio Only) 😎 🔫 🕹

An audio clip of a 21 second British TV advert of the Sega Genesis game The Terminator from 1992. The Sega Genesis game is based on the classic 1984 science fiction film of the same name and one of the most influential movies in cinematic history starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. In the advert, footage from the movie and from the video game is seen, whilst a deep sinister sounding male voiceover is heard saying "Imagine, being as powerful and as ruthless and as thoroughly unpleasant as The Terminator? Unfortunately, you are the nice guy. So to be any good, really is going to take ages". I remember seeing the advert on my father's old VHS recording of the 1992 ITV premiere of Arnold Schwarzenegger's classic 1988 action comedy thriller Red Heat. In the game, you play the film's main protagonist Kyle Reese as you battle the Terminators in the future and also set out to protect Sarah Connor from The Terminator in 1984 Los Angeles. I never played the game. The graphics looked good for the time and it looks like it had lots of gameplay and action. I became a fan of the Terminator franchise after watching Terminator 2: Judgment Day for the first time many years ago. Terminator 2: Judgment Day and Terminator Geneisys are my favourite films in the franchise and I've met Kristanna Loken (TX from Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines) and Summer Glau (Cameron Phillips from Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles). My father once had the Ocean Software Atari game of Terminator 2: Judgment Day. I would have liked to have played the Sega Genesis game of The Terminator and I would loved to have also played the 2019 Terminator video game Terminator: Resistance. I have played the old Terminator 2: Judgment Day arcade game online which I played back in 2020. I'll be back!
