I've been getting LG phone since the G4, no problems at all. People have to remember that at the end of the day, it's a phone damnit. I don't expect it to perform like a computer, high end camera or television...I need it to be not bulky, decent battery life, takes good pics and videos, decent price and work.... We keep putting too many requirements for "great phones" when it's main purpose involve making calls and basic level of storing information.... I'll wait for more reviews
It sounds like you're making excuses for LG which is never something you should have to do and a red flag for anyone considering an LG mobile device. Sounds more like settling for less than anything else
Wouldn't say they're learning, just LG has been more fair in its pricing vs the others. This is why I always buy LG good quality and not completely out to rip you off.
My Velvet arrived today! Its practically customized now! The bigger screen never hurts, especially the older you get! ;) I can always tweak it on an as needed basis. For now I love it!
The LG Velvet has such impressive name and design. OLED Screen and USB-C cable speaks excellent security. Its slim design is easy on hand for anyone regardless of gender and age. As time progressed smart phones at its solid-state design got stronger and each user have gotten more familiar to their phone.
LG is my favourite phone brand because they are innovative and develop some cool features.. But they always look for high end smart phone category.. Good specs along with better chipset LG can take over Indian markets..
It looks absolutely gorgeous!! Might have to get one. This looks like such a homerun to me. LG does have some great devices. My only thing is 6.8 inch is massive... 6.4 is a sweet spot to me as far as screens go. I've always been a Samsung guy, but lately got a bit bored with them. Lg has a similar feel, but fresher looking to me. I'm still rocking the Stylo 5. Still liking it too! But this work of art might be next... I feel like everyone is really appreciating LG phones more now, since they announced they are done. 😥
One thing is absolutely clear with the LG Velvet phone is that one does not need to burn massive holes in their pockets to be able to afford a 5G smartphone. Partially we of course have MediaTek and its Dimensity 1000C chip to thank for that. Along with that the waterdrop camera setup is very impressive and the 4000mAh battery ofcourse. It is a excellent phone, I should know I own one myself, it's very beautiful, very thin, capable, and have a very beautiful screen, it can also record 60fps which is also great, plus with that second screen case makes multitasking a breeze, can you imagine on a video call, while communicating on another app and watching a RUclips video all at once? Yeah that's what lg has done, plus the speakers sounds great, and the phone will age well it's good to get away from the Samsung, iPhone popularity contest.
Good luck getting the dual screen with T-Mobile, they don't offer it. They have the Velvet for $600 ($588) and then if you want the dual screen, that works with the T-Mobile phone, you have to pick up it from LG for 200 bucks. On top of that at the two T-Mobile stores I stopped in at here in Orange County, CA, one with 5 employees in on the conversation, they didn't know that the Velvet had a dual screen option.

Double screen attachment without breakable foldable screen that will break, great feature, long battery life, great feature, less bloatware (I'm looking at you Samsung), great!
