Don’t forget Kclip by Kazrog. It’s a oversampled clipper with some soft knee options. Better than the hornet one imho

Origin is lowkey my favorite lofi plugin. So easy to use and the presets are amazing

Can't find a way to download Finisher Micro. Can someone help me get it?

i downloaded vital, it appears in the Maschine 2 plugin list, but it doesn't appear in the VST list. I couldn't find any way to make it work :S any ideas ?

There is a pretty decent one in the free kilohearts bundle. Not perfect, but does its job.

I'm only a few days into my digital music journey, so bear with me. Is there a way to load Shreddage 3 into LMMS? After installing everything, I can only open it in Kontakt. All the other plug-ins I've downloaded just have a single DLL file, and I open it that way.
@@crnkmnkyIf it does, I don't know how. The directory has 6 or 7 DLL files. That's the only method I've had to use so far. I can just try each one and see if any of them do anything when I get the chance.

@@TheLittleNoobThatCould LMMS currently does not support VST3 plugins. (VST versions & developer licensing is a can of worms that I would protect your virgin ears from, even if I _did_ understand it.)
But I see on Reddit that there is a workaround, using a plugin manager called Element/Element FX. If the menus don't work, turn off "Plugin Embedding" in LMMS settings.
So, LMMS > VeSTige > Element >
Kontakt Player > Shreddage ? 😵💫
@@crnkmnky I'm willing to figure this out, but I've been collecting plug-ins like stamps. This is a lot of effort for just one that I didn't notice was the wrong format. Is there a free virtual electric guitar plug-in that isn't VST3? I don't need the best, just something. All the other videos I can find are either years old or off topic.
And some of the links on these videos are for a vst4free site that won't load properly too..
@@TheLittleNoobThatCould I see that VST4Free changed their name, likely due to another forced "licensing" issue, ugh.
You should still be able to find the old VSTs on there: Plugins4Free
@@TheLittleNoobThatCould I do have to ask why you're subjecting yourself to LMMS. If you're questioning the effort, you might be better off switching to a DAW with better plugin support and a stronger development team.
Unless you have an ideological reason for sticking with open-source software, there are better DAWs available for free. And if you _were_ using it for ethical reasons, you'd probably avoid bloatware like Kontakt…
It's never too late to switch over, but I understand if you want to stick with LMMS for now (it builds character, lol). You certainly don't _need_ every plugin on this list. Hoarding gear can be fun, but learning what actually fits into your workflow and sonic agenda is better.
I'm not there yet, but I'm glad to offer pointers!
