Because this song was established as a nation of the Soviet Union. Not known as the original universal worker song. It is now some scholars or young people studying the Soviet Union who understand the true meaning of the song. I hope this song will spread to Japan and continue to be sung. My grandpa, who was born and grew up in communist Yugoslavia, would probably be pleased to hear this song. It was an anthem of the communist party, and he was a member of that party. It reminds him of better times. Its interesting because Yugoslavia was the only socialist country where life was better than today.

This song, before of being a communist song, it’s a song that just ask for more cooperation, love and peace beetween men and women. This music always bring me to tears. So intense and full of hope. Unfortunately, in Italy we usually associate this song just with politics, but I think that this should be a song that everyone should take as an example. If the world will unite, I’m pretty sure that this may be its anthem. And compliments to Harry Völker, you’re an outstanding pianist, full of passion for your work and for this song.
