I just found your channel yesterday and am enjoying catching up on all of your videos. Asakusa looks lovely. I hope to visit Tokyo and its neighborhoods one day. Thank you for sharing.
Love your videos. stumble upon this one by searshing Asakusa and noticed halfway through the video that its you. Love it. This is my second time in Tokyo and last time i stayed we stayed in Shibuya; now we are looking to stay somewhere more traditional and i think i have found it, thanks to your video. Excited to travel this September with my boyfriend. Woo hoo!!!!!
That's amazing . I can't imagine there's so many things I have left out eating and watching and going though I went to asakusa few weeks ago. I pondered upon your videos and the food and culture you introduced really inspire me to go again to japan. Cheers, from Singapore.
love seeing traditional buildings so hope to show more and i enjoy every places and food you both visit. i hope you also show us some of festival plus parade in japan
I really enjoyed your video, I've only ever seen little clips or pictures of this area so to get a good look via your video was really exciting! At night time it must be so magical! Thank you for posting :D
HeatherBelle_x We really want to redo this video as this is one of our first videos, where we hardly appear on camera. Hoping the new one would be more dynamic. thanks so much for watching!
:O I really cannot wait for when you do, it definitely would be nice to see more of you guys, especially eating more delicious food haha, you're very welcome! ^.^
That man making the Ningyo-Yaki is also in Angela's (internationally me) Asakusa video in 2016!! Amazing, he looks exactly the same. I hope to see him when we go to Asakusa a few weeks from now :)
Everything looks good to eat (except the bean paste). I don't really get "bean paste". I've had it & it was just sweet paste with no particular flavor. It seems to be in many eastern sweets.
Loved the Video well done! I have a question. Me and my friends are staying at a hostel called K's House in January which is close to Asakusa (3 Chome-20-10 Kuramae, Taito). I would just like to ask you, is it very hard to get back to this area from perhaps Roppongi after 1am? Would we have to take a Taxi or are there also Night Metro's?
+rick van der windt After 1 am, it wouldn't be difficult to go back by taxi because taxis are plentiful, however it would be on the expensive side. However if you're only doing it once and you're with friends, you can always split the billl! The metro usually ends sometime around 1:00 am so the last train would be around 12:30 or so but you really want to check first during the planning phase. I hope this helps.
Hello! I'm Jeena Salonga, a researcher from the Philippines under a media network named "GMA Network, Inc.". I have come across this video of Asakusa. I would like to ask permission for usage of this video as a material for our segment on the program "Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho" where we would be featuring some of the food markets and halls in Japan. This will be used for local and international replays and for our TV plugs as well. Rest assured that we will give proper credit on your photo as we use it. I hope you could let me know about your feedback on this, as soon as possible. Thank you!
+Dimitris Ambient Asakusa is a good place but not too convenient. If you like quiet I would suggest an Airbnb in a local neighborhood on the Seibu Shinjuku line closer to Shinjuku. Perhaps Nogata, our neighborhood!:)
Kinda sad he felt the need to say friend instead of significant other/husband/whatever during this time. They dont really bring it up much from what ive seen of the newer stuff either so maybe its just personal preference.
I love when you show traditional places and foods like that.
Sakura Spring yes this is one of my favorite places to visit in Tokyo.
Thank you for show casing this place. There are so many little spots around here that people miss.
