I adore your public facing self, Wayne Brady. You are a joy to see in anything and I'm THRILLED you're on this pod. Bless you for speaking on your mental wellness path and for all that you've done to be an advocate in several categories. You're a blessing to get to have in anyone's life. ❤
Love this podcast so much. I love the depth and comedy. Pete is great and I’ve always appreciated Wayne on Whose Line. Someday I hope to be a famous enough comedian to be on 😜
WAYNE!! One of my favorite people in comedy, and just the public sphere, generally. Such an icon and thoughtful man. Grew up watching him on Whose Line and he's forever part of my comedy DNA
One of the BEST moments in television in the last several decades was when Richard Simmons🕊 was the guest star with Brady as fellow counterpart. If you can get through that without gut laughing we are different people.
Wayne is SOOOOO damn talented that I always thought he could be as big if not bigger than Chappelle. But maybe he enjoys the more cushy daytime roles cause they seem like an easy cash grab. I'd love to know his take. I think he's Jamie Foxx talented.
My only thing is these new talents arent timeless acts or legends they're just here in the moment and more than ever theres a revolving door where what came before is instantly ethered for the next gimmicky trending thing to take its place. And there were gimmicks back then and they didnt last, i feel like the world revolved back into that pop star era and its going back to where we want to see something authentic stick more.
What Wayne doesn't seem to understand is that comedy is the ultimate freedom of speech. He was hurt by it because he was at the receiving end of it for once.
@@sillyslambo8527 I actually did. He's being a hypocrite. He's made many jokes about white people and Asian people. But now that he's on the receiving end from a fellow black person, all of a sudden he's "offended"? An actual comedian would just laugh it off and continue on with his life. No, Wayne was so offended by a joke it still lives rent-free in his for more than a decade. Let that sink in.
Hearing Wayne’s story about struggling and dealing with depression is very inspiring. Thanks for sharing this.

Hi.... What you described can be difficult indeed. I have some resources that have offered support to me. Would you want them?
Just saw you with John Goblinkon. Great stuff

I love how this started, and love wayne brady even more
Been loving both these guys on @After Midnight and Make Some Noise.
Stapled to the hem of one's coat sounds like an old world idiom, I love it @57:30
I wish I could like this conversation more than once!
Saw Wayne in Vegas @ his "Making %@it Up" show. Such a talent!
Wayne Brady is always on point when he's on stage. At least what I've seen. Live seeing him on any platform.
A couple of my favorites!
Just realized I need Wayne Brady on Harry Mack’s podcast.
This is a GREAT convo! ADHD, sexuality, mental health, etc!! Very helpful to hear and I learn so much from this podcast!

Nekrogoblikon brought me here
Has Wayne's After Midnight episode aired already? I need to see that!
Great episode. Got to perform with Wayne for a private event in Vegas. Great guy, top-notch professional.
You just did a show in my area. I'm so disappointed that I didn't know about it 😢

I'm ageing 3,000 times faster than Wayne Brady
I hear that! He's looking good! No pollution in the city he lives in. Haha
Oh shit, it's Aged Brady son!
So there are people named Brady who have never heard the phrase “something suddenly came up”?!?!?!
modify the opener to "i cant believe one person showed up. ....you know who you are."
What was he liiiiike?

One skit on Chappelle will eclipse his entire career because that was honestly the funniest thing he's ever been in. It can not be topped.
I agree there. Any fair to good sketch show is still worth making for people like myself.
Whack. You would benefit from increased exposure.

@@Zbehdnrhcjrben Congratulations, you missed my point entirely. Now off you go, back to your mother's basement.
Its impressive that you watched the podcast(?) and didn't hear a single word Wayne said, congrats
