I was thinking of that detail, articulate, yesterday. That is such a big factor in delivery, and how people receive the speaker. It is especially clear when someone, such as Kamala Harris, tries to appear important, and fails horribly. Too bad she'll be on the payroll after she leaves office.

@@Spegtacular Its the wonderful thing about collecting, a person can take a break and pick up where they left off. I took a 5 yr break from silver and focused on collecting special releases, in our Canadian change at FV, it made coin roll hunting fun again. I find changing focus helps. I was surprised from your video with bank notes to learn US notes are made from cotton and linen. Do they last longer then paper? Our Canadian notes started switching over to polymer in 2013 and are still deterioate. It was said it was for more security features and durablity. I believe prior notes were paper. I'm curious to check after hearing, the composition of US notes.

One month ago/ about August 6. Comment...Watching these videos really is enjoyable. Tidbits here and there make me better educated, and Guy knows how to make it fun. Nothing dry about Guy! The business end is also informative. How, and what, and why when it comes to getting the product to the customer is a big factor. Guy touched on the UPS strike, and his brother's experience in the company. Wonderful to understand more deeply these details. Thanks!

I would love to see 100 plus videos with Coin Guy, I am addicted to his personality and information! Maybe its because we grew up with similar values and worldviews? I always learn something new about coins. It would be cool to hear a segment on his views on 2 subjects: What does he see for the future of the Canadian coin market in the States, both circulation and mint products? As he has mentioned he deals with many snowbirds. Also feature a segment on different series of coins in detail, with close ups and prices. As those of us with no lcs or shows, who are stuck buying online, would be most appreciative!! He is honest, knowledgable and with 50 years experience. Its a hard combination to beat, I forgot entertaining! Much love to you both. Another interesting topic, is women in the hobby? When I started in earnest July 1,,2012, there were very few women in the hobby. This year I have met more via youtube videos. I felt like a fish out of water, being a women, even in my other passion tropical fish keeping, few women are in the hobby.

I have two sons. One is 12 and one is 9 when the lockdown happened, my youngest was in VPK. Voluntary pre-kindergarten. The last quarter of his year was shut down and then he had to begin kindergarten on zoom. It was absolutely horrible and I have been doing tutoring ever since. He’s now in fourth grade. He’s a smart, smart boy so thank God for that, but the learning curve definitely affected all children. my now seventh grader thank God is on the honor roll. He got pulled out of the end of second grade and started third grade online. Thank God we were in Florida and we were giving better options than other states.

The term "high cotton" or "tall cotton" originates from the rural farming community in the antebellum (pre-Civil War) South when "high cotton" meant that the crops were good and the prices were, too. The term has generalized to mean one is doing well or is successful.

Great vid. Re interest rates; they are not a bad thing. They stop inflation, give strength to currency, etc. Anyone pitching low Interest rates, does not understand or are going after their own interests.
You mention high interest rates on homes of years past, but neglect to explain that house prices back then were far more affordable then they are today. Home prices and interest rates are inversely correlated. Crucial to understand that. Income vs homes prices is a whole other kettle of fish (can or worms?) people ignore.

People think their rise in property value is a good thing but understand all it gives you is higher property taxes and insurance costs unless you are ready to sell and cash out. Just remember that ALL prices have risen so if you are selling and then need to buy something else then it’s a wash. Way too many people think a huge rise in property value means they have more cash to take out and spend, but all it means if you can BORROW MORE from the lender by refinancing to a larger loan coupled now with a higher rate. Horrible idea if you ever hope to be out of debt. Only good if you cash out to invest in a second property, but with todays economy be ready to lose twice as fast if you do that and prices begin to fall. Selling falling houses is not as simple as selling a stock or cashing in gold. There’s gonna be a lot of pain for people who are house rich and asset poor. I’m hoping for a drop in house prices so maybe the next generation can afford to buy. Otherwise we are screwed as a society and the American dream is dead.
