I've really enjoyed proverbs 7-9 and 1 Corrinthians lately in my struggles. Stay in the word daily and remain prayerful. Remember we are fighting from a position of victory already because Christ fights our battles with us. Don't try to do it in your own strength, use Christ. Also Mathew 5 speaks of the pure of heart going to heaven. To be pure of heart is to actively seek to purify, sanctify... Maybe get rid of certain social media that causes you to stumble. I recently had to decide Twitter was not for me even though I love looking at news from other believers. I can't do it. Haven't had Instagram for a couple years now. Definetly helped.. Stay strong keep fighting, your not in this alone. Maybe there is a mens group near you or maybe its a city or two over.. I found one this year, it's been great.

I have had a serious p*rn addiction in my past. It’s gotten extremely better as I have asked for help and repentance and forgiveness from Jesus but I still fall short because I am not perfect or worthy to even be called a good man. I still feel shameful for the feelings of lust and thoughts I get. But the times that it does happen to me I notice the thoughts go away in seconds and I feel immediately convicted by the Holy Spirit. It used to not be like that. Lord Jesus thank you for forgiving me for every sin. Please brothers and sisters pray for me. It is a hard battle to fight and it is very hard to admit, especially because I have a good woman who truly loves me. i used to live in a big city. There i got broken up with my a partner i had for years. I then, instead of turning to God, turned to sin and was sleeping with over 8 girls at the same time. There is nothing to gain there, it all felt so shallow and empty. Eventually after a wake up call, finding god, and a beautiful girl to call my own and i’m hers.
You are what is wrong with people. I choose not to participate in any of that and I didn't get a wife. It literally always disgusted me, Christian or not, it always stuck me as a obvious moral wrong. Now I am old and I won't have a family of my own, let alone a wife. Meanwhile. From my perspective. You are rewarded after having done wrong. And God in turn gives me no feedback. Am I not upholding the law? Who knows. But some random like you will always have their survivorship bias story to share. A quaint little just so story that is true at the time of writing. How to Overcome Lust: Stop thinking it's you who can overcome it by your own willpower, you will not. Satan is constantly influencing you and trying to get you to give in. how are u guys have so much lust. i am a 28 years old man, and i have litterly no lust left inside me. i realized, lust is turning me on to flesh and bones, skin, hair. nothing lasts forever. if i watch old peoples younger pictures, may they appear attraktive. but would they appear to me like that too when they get old or now when they are old. nooo. its wasted time and thoughts about flesh and bone. Also you never know if she/he has any Diseases, which could impact your later in life too. Don't be lonely, socialize more. I felt so many sxual thoughts when am alone, so try not to be alone for long time. Keep praying, let's fight demons with Christ. Am also struggling with this pray for me, my mind is corroded with these thoughts, still resisting and fighting because of Christ.

There is so many ways he attacks you with lust, from the movies and TV shows you watch, the music you listen too, the friends you surround yourself by, even your relationships with your significant other ! Especially as men, this becomes a difficult battle. I’m really not doing to well spiritually. I’ve given in to meth and sex addiction. The shame it’s brought me has caused me to shy away from the church, friends and family. Normally I try to stay celibate , not even giving in the masturbation, because once I start it opens up portals to lustful thoughts, drugs, and fornication with other people. I’ve been In this viscous cycle for 10 years now In doing well for weeks or months at a time and then falling into temptation again…it’s not like I don’t know God is real. Profound things has happened even in my last 3 years with God. I’ve been filled with the fire of the Holy Spirit and few times. I’ve tasted the goodness of God as He drew me closer to Him…This is now why it hurts more when I fall short of His glory. I pray I get complete victory over my addictions. Early trauma and molestation has contributed to bondages manifesting in my life in ways i didn’t expect. I’ve done counseling, therapy , rehab , obviously church and fellowship, NA, AA, etc….yet I’m still struggling at times… God help me!

I found god and my faith grew stronger everytime i turned away from temptation. Study the bible and pray for those you love around you, make friends with other christians and keep building your faith. Was doing really well just grinding and focusing on myself. Met an extremely attractive girl who was into me and immediately went full pursuit after her. Fast forward a few months later and here i am after being dumped feeling like i lost all the self improvement progress i made. God tested my willpower and i failed. I've really enjoyed proverbs 7-9 and 1 Corrinthians lately in my struggles. Stay in the word daily and remain prayerful. Remember we are fighting from a position of victory already because Christ fights our battles with us. Don't try to do it in your own strength, use Christ. Also Mathew 5 speaks of the pure of heart going to heaven. To be pure of heart is to actively seek to purify, sanctify... Maybe get rid of certain social media that causes you to stumble. I recently had to decide Twitter was not for me even though I love looking at news from other believers. I can't do it. Haven't had Instagram for a couple years now. Definetly helped.. Stay strong keep fighting, your not in this alone. Maybe there is a mens group near you or maybe its a city or two over.. I found one this year, it's been great.

I have had a serious p*rn addiction in my past. It’s gotten extremely better as I have asked for help and repentance and forgiveness from Jesus but I still fall short because I am not perfect or worthy to even be called a good man. I still feel shameful for the feelings of lust and thoughts I get. But the times that it does happen to me I notice the thoughts go away in seconds and I feel immediately convicted by the Holy Spirit. It used to not be like that. Lord Jesus thank you for forgiving me for every sin. Please brothers and sisters pray for me. It is a hard battle to fight and it is very hard to admit, especially because I have a good woman who truly loves me. Sin is the opposite of obedience to God. So, you need to repent, and repentance (Acts 2:38) is necessary to receive God's forgiveness and healing as He restores you to start living a new life, freed from being a slave of sin (Romans 6:4-7). That can only happen if you sincerely regret having sinned against God and want his forgiveness to have peace in your heart once and for all. You have to take a stand where you sincerely want to please God in your life going forward and not please yourself with anything that is sinful and ultimately destructive. All that is important.

i used to live in a big city. There i got broken up with my a partner i had for years. I then, instead of turning to God, turned to sin and was sleeping with over 8 girls at the same time. There is nothing to gain there, it all felt so shallow and empty. Eventually after a wake up call, finding god, and a beautiful girl to call my own and i’m hers.
You are what is wrong with people. I choose not to participate in any of that and I didn't get a wife. It literally always disgusted me, Christian or not, it always stuck me as a obvious moral wrong. Now I am old and I won't have a family of my own, let alone a wife.
Meanwhile. From my perspective. You are rewarded after having done wrong. And God in turn gives me no feedback. Am I not upholding the law? Who knows. But some random like you will always have their survivorship bias story to share. A quaint little just so story that is true at the time of writing. Will it still be true in 20 years? Who knows. How to Overcome Lust: Stop thinking it's you who can overcome it by your own willpower, you will not. Satan is constantly influencing you and trying to get you to give in. I used to struggle with pride. It wasn't until a couple of humbling moments in my life was I bright back to god. He humbled me in the material world to spark my spirit. Remember God works in mysterious ways. Keep praying and putting effort in. God is always ready to save you.

I’m really not doing to well spiritually. I’ve given in to meth and sex addiction. The shame it’s brought me has caused me to shy away from the church, friends and family. Normally I try to stay celibate , not even giving in the masturbation, because once I start it opens up portals to lustful thoughts, drugs, and fornication with other people. I’ve been In this viscous cycle for 10 years now In doing well for weeks or months at a time and then falling into temptation again…it’s not like I don’t know God is real. Profound things has happened even in my last 3 years with God. I’ve been filled with the fire of the Holy Spirit and few times. I’ve tasted the goodness of God as He drew me closer to Him…This is now why it hurts more when I fall short of His glory. I pray I get complete victory over my addictions. Early trauma and molestation has contributed to bondages manifesting in my life in ways i didn’t expect. I’ve done counseling, therapy , rehab , obviously church and fellowship, NA, AA, etc….yet I’m still struggling at times… God help me!
