Thank you Team FAZIOLI vor giving us this little visual gift. For me a short and deep Dive in this wonderful grand piano, produced with passion and love by wonderful people with amazing skills of craftsmanship. All this gracefully performed by a great pianist. You have brighten up my day ! Thank you!
Watching this brought tears to my eyes because this is the piano of my dreams. I never had the opportunity to study, but had the talent and the desire to play for life. The piano has been my first love since I was a child. Thank you for making this for us and the others that help to explain how and why this piano is such a glorious work of art. I was happy to see the crew here, too. You and Christiaan made me smile from the heart.
Thank you for the incredible video! I love Fazioli pianos. When in a Vienna for three master piano classes, my fellow students and I were invited to use the practice rooms in the famous Vienna Conservatory. The room I used each time had a Fazioli and a Bösendorfer grand piano. I used and loved both. I’ve toured the Bösendorfer factory in Wiener Neustadt three times and really appreciate fine craftsmanship. I own a Bösendorfer 170 and a probably am biased, but I do love and highly respect the craftsmanship of both.
Bro, I hit up the Herbie model in a store once… the sounds and the feel were nothing like any of the hundreds of grans I’ve played. People brag about Steinway because they can’t afford a Faz. 😂

Thanks for your comment! The Artisan at 8:12 is Michele. All Fazioli Artisans are extremely passionate and skilled, characteristics that are fundamental to have the best result possible.
I am going to ask something incredible to your ears... The fact that this is a high range, no compromise, top quality piano is known to all of musicians worldwide. No discussion. Point is: how it would be possible to let "normal guys" be pleased by your skills? I know it sounds blasphemous, but... Have you ever thought to develop an application or a software simulation of Fazioli sound? Pianoteq from Modarrt is a known app allowing us "normal human beings" to play a Steinway, a Petrof, a Yamaha, spending low amounts and allowing headphones listening. I think you should consider that. In the meantime many of us play lottery to win enough to buy a huge living room with a Fazioli inside. Great job men, keep on working like that.

JUST CUZ YOU GOT TO SIT IN A RACECAR FOR A PICTURE, OR TAKE A FERRARI AROUND THE BLOCK DOES NOT MEAN YOU WILL GET WITH IN 20 FT OF A FUNCTIONING F1 CAR, LET ALONE SIT IN ONE, DRIVE IT, OR TAKE IT HOME FOR PRACTICE LAPS. 😂 THINK ABOUT THIS. (PS GET A PAIR OF B&W HEADPHONES, P5, P7 AND TELL ME HOW THOSE ELECTRIC PIANOS SOUND THROUGH SOME REAL REFERENCE EQUIPMENT. IT’S ALL DESIGNED FOR PEOPLE IN THE $100 HEADPHONE RANGE PLAYING A PLASTIC YAMAHA CLAV) 😂 WAIT TILL YOU HEAR HOW IT ‘REALLY’ SOUNDS. 😂
I love the yellow metal piece being mounted in minute 1 to the underside to turn the piano so easily up! Is this special FAZIOLI equipment? Custom made, or possible to purchase somewhere? Thanks
@@FazioliPianosAlso known as “The Bells of Moscow”. A great piece to test the bass and overall sonority of a piano! Chopin’s C minor prelude (no. 20) is another because you can just hammer the chords (with some voicing, of course) and just listen to them ring
Oof, slick factory floor probably not the best place for that....gorgeous piano though - I can see finding a technician may be a bit of an issue if they are tuning differently. I had the pleasure of trying one for fun (not ever going to be able to buy one) years and years ago, and it had a lovely creamy sound.

Many a millionaire will have these beautiful instruments just for show, an ornament, never having learned or any intention to learn how to play. On the other hand there are some brilliant pianists who will never own one.😢
My piano was a real cheapie, it cost me 200 Dollars years ago. But it had an amazing sound till about 3 years ago when I found out that the base board has cracked.
Well, they had nothing when they grow up let alone study music. They make it rich by hard working but they forever lost the opportunity to study piano. Compare to you, you at least had a parents to put up money to send you study piano. What are you complaining? That you never made enough money to buy a good piano?
We can thank Theodore Steinway who in 1872 invented duplex scaling for the modern piano! I almost understood „…I‘m a professional penis“ … but thankfully got it right then. Thanks for the insight. Beautiful grand Piano 🎹. Do you know by chance if Fazioli plans to bring out an automatic playing system similar to ‚spirio‘ from the German/American contender?
I was told by Luca Fazioli that they will include a piano disk system when building a piano to order for a customer. They will not modify an existing piano and install a player system.
I want one, I want one and I want one!!!! I play the lottery once a month hoping to win a good portion after taxes so I can buy one. This was beautiful. Would you be kind enough to state the name of the last piece played? Thank you.
Great sounding piano's.. If only you had more dealers in each major city instead of only one. e.g. in Toronto. Just ONE. What if for some reason we buy a Fazioli grand and don't get along with the ONE shop we bought our piano from? Or the serviceman they sent over doesn't get along with us? What then?
I wonder how much less it might cost me if I were able to order a very bare stripped down Fazioli (with no fancy ornaments ... just the elements like soundboard & hammer & action ..) ..... just for sound & playability purposes ... just to record & play ... nit for public viewing ...? The ‘Blind’s Man’ edition.... nothing to look at ... but just feel & play and hear ..
Climate conditions can kill pianos, especially high humidity and extreme dry, and the varnish finish on the soundboard offers next to no protection from humidity - I disagree with your video on this point. Why not provide information and advice on how to preserve and care for Fazioli pianos in the home or venue?
Thanks for your feedback, David! This video was thought of as an introduction to our F212 model. There were a lot of topics to be discussed, especially on the F212 production process, but we had to select just a few, otherwise, the video would have been much longer. In a future video, we could definitely talk about the best practices to preserve a Fazioli piano!
In the woodworking and painting departments, as shown in the video, our team members work closely with wood and paint particles. While our factory is equipped with ventilation and suction systems, masks are required for specific tasks as an additional safety measure.
I REMEMBER BEING ALLOWED TO ‘TOUCH’ THE HERBIE IN A STORE. WHAT A SPECIAL INSTRUMENT. 😊 EDIT: I PLAYED THE SAME THING 😂 P IN C#M 😂 THAT WAS 20 YEARS AGO I WILL NEVER FORGET IT.

Great to hear a demo properly recorded, sad how many are poorly recorded.

Any ideas how much each model of Fazioli cost?

Rachmaninoff, Mendelssohn, but what is the cantabile piece midway?
Around 7:73 it's the melody of Glinka's Lark
No wonder that I did not know it. It's pretty obscure in the pantheon of melodies. Thanks for the prompt answer.
