Чтобы понимать английскую речь, не нужно быть сильно крутым.
По идее там им переводят сразу, кто-то за кадром сидит. Слышно в одном моменте конец фразы.
При этом все песни у них на английском

@@mousansour I think they do speak some English, but they are either shy about it or just unwilling to speak. As far as I know, they write their songs, so they have to know English, but it might be that psychological language barrier a lot of Russian people have. As an English teacher here in Russia, who teaches in a centre for everyone, I deal with that kind of students a lot. Heck, my best friend has a huge amount of fear of speaking to the point where she was afraid of repeating a word after me when I helped her with preparing for her exam. She just yelled "this English lady wants something from me" very loudly, and that was immensely funny for both of us since we were sitting on a bench in an alley 😁 and there were a lot of people around us. But at last, she was able to say something.

Same! I have always thought that slight weirdness is an important part of Eurovision, and I think Russia, Iceland and Lithuania managed to do the best job at that.

The one year Russia has the biggest chance to take home the trophy and Eurovision is cancelled?? I was so heartbroken. Yeah, I really have no doubt in my mind Russia will ask them back next year. They're already so popular and could get them out of placing 3rd. I was rooting for them!!
Discussions are still ongoing. Unfortunately, luck is not yet on the side of little big. We want them to take part in the competition, but the opinion of the people (as always in my country) is not taken into account.

I was kind of hoping for more bombastic dance moves like in Skibidi & Hypodancer though.

Little input about captions: word "abydna" word was translated to "shame". "Pity" would've been much closer to the context than "shame".
I know that English speakers also use "it's a shame we can't go..." expression, but it doesn't sound like something disastrous, just a mundane thing.

@@ne_tavo_gyvenimas8013 Russia has a huge diaspora advantage (when they send something Russians like). Pretty much every single ex-Soviet country has a Russian minority. Even if absolutely no one in west / central europe liked the song, there'd be massive diaspora block voting across eastern europe. And Little Big has lots of fans and tours in western / central Europe. That would give them big televote support. At least a few points from almost every single country adds up very fast

It’s a disappointment firstly because they could have won it and for all our possible differences (not really, we’re all just people) Russia would have put on an outstanding show if they had won but also it’s a shame to not just get to experience them perform this on Eurovision. So many missed great experiences this year, sad but necessary.
