I’ve been a TiLite person for the past ten years. But I decided to try a Quickie Xenon 2 last year when I was eligible for another chair through my insurance. I was highly disappointed in terms of the actual weight of the chair vs what Quickie claims that it weighs. It’s substantially heavier than both of my TiLite chairs. It’s been over ten years since I’ve ordered a Quickie chair and it’ll easily be another ten years before I try another Quickie. TiLite chairs just seem to be better built, lighter chairs.

      Hi Ozzie Alarcon,
We also are also huge fan of the Ti-Lite wheelchairs, we are a main stockiest in the UK for those too. Its a shame to hear you that you were disappointed with the Xenon.
I would highly recommend going for a full ridged chair for your next purchase. Possible the TRA www.lifestyleandmobility.co.uk/product/permobil-tilite-tra/ or ZRA www.lifestyleandmobility.co.uk/product/permobil-tilite-zra/

Looking at TiLite wheelchair for my son . What model would you recommend and why? I Definately need ultra lightweight but want it to be sturdy. Any recommendations? What kind of TiLite do you have. Thank you.

This gentleman is slightly over the top it’s no different from any other lightweight wheelchair on the market. I use this model every day it’s very easy to get in and out of the car and is extremely lightweight. However, there are far better models out there. The quickie Argon 2 is a good starter wheelchair for sure.

      Hi Ashley,
We agree there a better models out there. However pound for pound this is one of the best models out there for your money. It’s lightweight, super ridged and still adjustable especially if it your 1st 2nd or 3rd wheelchair. If your looking for the next level wheelchair I would highly recommend the Quickie Krypton or a ti-lite. We haven’t got any video of the ti-lite yet, but they are on our website www.lifestyleandmobility.co.uk/product/permobil-tilite-aero-z/
Please also check our our video of the Krypton, I have to say a firm favourite of mine, but ultimately it comes down to budget.

How do people afford these are their programs that offer 100% assistance. As a disabled veteran the VA doesn't work and has left me in shambles. Private doctors have been even worse only wanting to big pharma medicate.
    WHERE IS THE REAL HELP???
