- In today's Europa Universalis IV (EU4) video we will be buffing every island nation that is less than 5 provinces in the entire world. This should let interesting borders happen, especially considering how many different countries will receive the buff!

I'd like to see a game where all countries below a certain size (say, 10 provinces) get crazy bonuses, but as soon as they go over that limit, the bonuses go away. Might be fun to see countries grow and shrink constantly.
Maybe a scaling buff? 1 province = 10000% of everything; ...; 5 provinces = 1000%; ...; >=10 provinces = 100%. This only requires 9 triggered modifiers, which seems very doable.

How about buffing every nation with non-unique ideas?

I seen sometimes the irish minors be allied either with France or Britain and sooner or later they get vassalized by them and then get annexed so thats why France maybe owned random province in ireland.

I would like to see a game where each province gives a nation +1 unrest to see who manages to blob despite this malus
How about a war against the world basically pick 1 nation and give them a ton of op buffs then set them to be at war with everyone else automatically all the time

what about creating a scenario from history that almost happened or could have happened if circumstances were right. So for example if Charlemagne had married Irene of the Byzantine Empire. What if battle of Varna was won by the coalition, what if Scandinavia never adopted Catholic, the Mongol Empire surviving to 1444 etc.
I think you did some already, but dont remember which ones.

One of my recent games as Russia the main problem I had was fighting the commonwealth. Not the ottomans but the commonwealth and their Austria-hungary PU. Their mission tree is absolutely broken

I'm pretty sure in the code Rome is turned off for ai

@@coolmanidk it's practically just a name change. An ai will almost never get enough land, but even if they do, they can't form Rome which is dumb.
I'm rooting for Sardinia. If they form Italy, it's over.
Also, Balinese Australia is fun. Bali is, stereotypically speaking, one of the prime holiday destinations for bogan Australians.

What about giving bonuses to every nonHRE place with less than 5 provinces(4 or less)?
How about every region into colonial region (more colonial nations, ex. English France will be a colonial region, ottoman Anatolia…).
I don’t know how this could work but if you make more overseas area it may work.
I don't think this would work, because the rule is that CNs can only be formed by nations whose capital is not in a colonial region. If the whole world is covered by colonial regions, then every nation will have its capital in a colonial region, so no-one will form a CN.

Long time subscriber here to say EU4 says turkey is in Europe so it must be in Europe. Much like how Turks are in the same culture group as Bedouin Arabs. Sure.

Now do few color coded campaigns. Give super buffs to every country with simmilar map color and decide once and for all, who's the best X color in the game. And maybe use shattered world to start with more colorful TAGs. Can't wait for Blue/Red/Green/Yellow/White/Black/Purple/Brown/Orange Gangs and so on.
