Back in my day we called this summer.
Now it's called "Simmer".
@michaelholbrook4993 Now it's called climate change.
And it still is it’s getting hotter tho
Climate change is real
No... It's not. It's no different than any other summer I've seen since 1985..... Sheep just believe what they're told. Records were broken last year definitely. But it was that hot at one time to create the records that were broken. It's summertime. It gets hot. That's what summer does.
When I lived in New York back in the 60’s. My dad would open up the fire hydrants so all the kids could cool off.
They do that in California cities. But not to cool down.but to wash away the urine and feces.
We use to do that too. Now i have yard and i bought a pool.
@nenaj1 Same. I've done this a lot in Baltimore in the 90's/early 00's. Same scenario too.
We did that in Newark, NJ. My dad was a fireman.
@@elizabethlacky6068 That's dope AF. They have the very wrench that's used to turn them off. When we see them, we know it's time to turn it off.
Rolf it’s called summer. I am 52 and every summer has pretty much been the same. People are dumb as hell.
Lmfao
That’s what people that work in offices with air-conditioning always say
No summers are not the same the heat is coming earlier and lasting a lot longer through the year! I’m 50 years old as well maybe you should keep up with current events
No, Mike -- temperatures have risen. Check weather history.
No it's hotter than last year in June! We could have a hot September so we have a way to go. I prefer this to winter and dark all day anyday!!
Oh my, it's summer, and it's hot? What a shock. Call John Kerry!!!!
PROPAGANDA
LOL
This is Biden's BS and these anchors are liberal paid shills. Hey fake news media, we have a "dangerous heat wave" every single year starting about this time. It's called summer. No such things as witches or your silly "climate change" either. I'm in Texas, so the humidity causes the heat index to rise to up to 110 degrees some days and guess what? It's been happening here for over 100 years!!!
Too funny ... I wouldn't be surprised to see Trump giving a speech saying that with orange makeup running down his face.
Man, it was this hot last year too. And I think the year before that... seems like it gets hot every year around June and it doesn't seem to cool off until around August or Sept. I wonder if there's some sort of pattern- maybe we should consult a climate scientist to explain why it gets hot every summer. Such a mystery, who would have expected?
I noticed I get two feet of snow in January too. So strange
It gets hot in the summer? Really? Huh, I guess so because the times near September, or October I notice the leaves start to change color and it cools off. I wonder what that’s about, I think I should tell the weather channel about this strange activity that happens every year.
Hot in summer? Say it ain't so.
It gets hot this time every year
90-100 in North Eastern US in June is very unusual.
No, it's not, it's summer, @@jackiepaper101
Nope @@jackiepaper101
Yep nothing new. I'm in louisiana and as long as I can remember, shocker....it always gets hot this time. Usually hotter, kind of mild lately.
@@rockinfaceplant0000 So you think there's a conspiracy to exaggerate the weather?
I live in Texas this is every year for us lol
Got an IG?
Gorgeous hair
didn't a bunch of you die during the winter one year? Weird those people in PA were fine. It's just winter lmfao
@@sleeks9939you're down bad😂
Remember when Ted Cruz said he would consider climate change rule when Texas freezes over...and then it did
So…summer?
It's summertime...... happens almost every year
Well. You all better give up your houses, meat, veggies, automobiles, pets, soda, and shut down all farms. Everyone needs to get rushed to 15 minute cities and give up your houses to eel eagles.
That is their goal .
We have 115 here in Phoenix! So we are not complaining
Still sucks tho 😅.
Maybe because Phoenix is in the middle of a desert
That's not really unusual... It's the f'ing desert!
Meanwhile, in Montana and Idaho it is snowing?
Seriously, are they going to say this every summer
Well on avg this will be the coldest summer you will experience for the rest of your life so... yes.
look at the nuance mate. The earth is warming and the average temp is increasing minutely year by year. We are like a frog boiling to death. It looks like warm and balmy and one day all of us will find it unbearable.

@@surajpoudel-lj5ut OR, we're being lied to and you just haven't figured it out yet.
@@miketexas4549 lmao. Another day... another conspiracy
but if we give government and NGO's our money, cars, gas stoves, and more control over our lives they will "save us " from the bad climate thing right?
Oh no the summer is hot i guess we should abandon all of our modern convenience live in 300 sqft apartments and eat bugs that'll fix it
Yes Bill Gates will LOVE you!!!!
Happens every year... forever...
So why is this abnormal ? It used to be 120 in Arizona back in the 70s
I must be old. I remember it being hot many other times before.
Everyone’s fine
Look at the heat related deaths last year
The brit bongers are boiling in 78 degrees lmao
@@colin857 people die, every year, from all kinds of things, trust the science. everyone's going to die.
ENOUGH WITH THE PROPAGANDA
Who benefits from this "propaganda"..? It's mid-june and the north has already hit 100 degrees. Last year was the hottest year recorded, but you refuse to accept what's right in your face.
So you don't think there's a heatwave in North Eastern US?
It's just the truth. Accept it
@@jackiepaper10190° is not a heatwave. 105° is... But it's only a few days out of the year. Cowboy up!
@@kilodeltawhisky1504 90-100 in mid-June in that part of the US is a heatwave.
These people are so crazy acting like the isn't normal. This is regular ask over. EVERYBODY survives this in Texas, Arizona and California. You all can too.
I blame Russia for this heat
Now there is a “heat dome”… coming up with new terminology to scare us into believing everything is an extreme weather event. I remember heat waves growing up in the 90s. I’m actually looking forward to it!
Weather reporting has become a 'click-bait' industry.
BS! I'm in Michigan and it's 95°F!. Right now it's 91°F inside my mobile home

This is straightforward reporting on an unusual weather anomaly. That's all.
I live in a place in the US where summer temps are always of three digits. EVERY YEAR! Nothing new! Actually we had a few days of 100+ degrees F even last month. Yes the month of May! Nothing new either.
Wow...lets sensationalize the weather, and everything else on the news.
Do those folks know it's cooler to go inside in the air conditioning?
I lived in Arizona for 4 years and the summer was absolutely unbearable.
How do those folks in the tropics live? lame news!

Well, it’s 94 in Northern Michigan. That is normal for August, not June.
@@EverySecondCounts_LogOff assuming things huh? That's a bad personal view
Yeah well, it’s summer. It gets hot in the summer. Y’all act like we have no memory of ALL the summers we have ever had in our lives. It’s always hot!
Oddly enough those of us who also deal with the heat closer to the equator just keep chugging along.
That's because such heat is more common near the equator compared to more temperate regions of the US
@@ConnorW8 So cope about it? You decide to live in a concrete jungle not us.
@@ConnorW8 there’s only a 400 mile difference between where I’m at and NYC distance to equator. The temps nyc is about to feel are the same ones we already have. NYC is closer to the equator than it is the North Pole…
@Shadowbanned4Lyfe you must be NO MORE than 15 talking about "cope with it" who tf SAYS that?? use actual language and make sense. especially important after a FACT is placed in your face. go to google and learn how biology works and how temperature can have drastic effects if suddenly placed elsewhere. like that heatwave in japan a few years ago. i guess they decided to live there too huh? since theyve been there for nearly 60,000 years. go "cope" about the obvious lack of education present in your mind.
@@KaentukiTheFuki I’m glad you’re coping.
Edit: let it all out.
2308 people died of extreme heat last year and the number's been increasing. Stay cool and stay hydrated.

And every year people die and dont even get me started about heat strokes and im still only talking US!!!...so yes it may be annoying but it's important ❤🫶

This is why we cant stop oil. And the most of the people who die from the heat are homeless people. Maybe if we stop sending money to ukraine l, we can take care of the homeless here instead 😊

If only they would force a carbon tax on all of us. This needs to stop now!

Why don't they paint blacktops white??

But we can afford to give Isn’traelis universal healthcare with our taxes

*Summer heat waves are nothing new. We live in upstate NY where we AVERAGE 8-10…90-degree days a summer. Last year in 2023 we had just 2. The record is 32 - in 1953! That’s 70 years ago long before anyone was talking about climate change or global warming!*
And in the news today, summer gets hot.
What is the hottest Louisiana has ever been?
The record for the entire state is 114 degrees, reached on Aug. 10, 1936 in Plain Dealing, which is located north of Shreveport, according to the National Weather Service.
Don’t we hear this about this every year in the summer?
I think now people believe in climate change. How it is effective, the whole world watch the news. Countries all over have so much heat. The worst is they have no air condition and no water. Most of us are lucky in the United States. We have those things but for how long😮
at risk of what.......STUPIDITY ? Like not seeking shade, or drinking water ?
It's also snowing in Montana and other places, so it's mother nature.
