Congrats to the wikipedia user Mickalsbe and others for getting the article for The Game (1997) not only rolled back for vandalism, but protected due to "Persistent addition of unsourced or poorly sourced content"
The reason it's a big deal that Michael Gove did coke (or one of the reasons) is that he made a rule that any teachers that were ever found to have used illegal substances were to lose their jobs. It's the hypocracy people have a problem with (as Flax pointed out). Teachers have their careers ended because they are supposed to be held to a higher standard-And yet a man that aims to lead the entire nation is exempt from such strict censure.
I really enjoyed how Lewis clammed up then immediately, frantically changed the subject after his net worth was mentioned. That's a super awkward subject for anyone with money and even an ounce of humility.
Well there's three things. 1) Random people online have really no way of knowing your net worth so that number is definitely way off. 2) If that is roughly the number most of it must be his share in the Yogscast. While it might be worth ~$3M, there is really no way for him to sell it, not without impacting its value, and borrowing against it is risky. 3) Putting any number on it (which is likely to be 7 figures by now) would just discourage people from buying things or donating, and a lot of the 'lower down' creators/editors/etc really rely on that money. Alternatively if it is lower than one would expect people are going to be thinking Lewis/Yogscast is broke, pitying him, that's why he lives in such shitty apartments... etc etc
At 39:20 sips says he wants a politician who is open about taking drugs when they were younger directly after bitching about politicians talking about taking drugs when they were younger. I love these guys but holy shit
Sips also completely missed the point Pyrion and Lewis were making about politicians doing drugs, yet making it illegal for others to do it. I think he had something else in his mind at the time, but it did make him sound like he was ok with politicians being massive fucking hypocrites. I love these guys as well, but sometimes the lines between comedy and ignorance kinda get blurred.

Funny Pflax mentioned that study of parliament's drug use at the start. We had exactly the same thing in Norway a few years back, only there was much more positive tests for heroin (and cocaine). Some of the bathrooms tested were PRIVATE MP ONLY toilets... amazing when you think about it
My grandmother did Iowaska and saw the ''panther mother, who introducded her to the world mother'' sounded bit far fetched, but certainly trippy and cool
when they ask you, "on a scale from 1 to 10, how bad is your pain?" you're supposes to say "10" while crying. I mean, if you want the hard drugs that is. you can't be like, "uh, it's like a pain rating 4 or 5 doc, it kind of hurts a bit all of the time." here's your ibuprofen prescription.

Handkerchiefs can be useful in countries with hot climates like the Philippines. Everyone usually has one to wipe the sweat off your face or even cover your mouth from vehicle fumes.
As someone who has read the book, Nightflyers is by George R. R. Martin. Also if you are interested in the story of the largest producer of LSD in the US, his ex-girlfriend Krystle Cole has a RUclips channel called NeuroSoup and has written a book on her experiences living with him in an abandoned missile silo running the US psychedelic underground.
Coke is definitely not just a rich man's drug. A lot of students do it. Ketamine is currently massive in the UK too. Also rubbing drugs on your gums also makes you high. The dead cat thing is absolutely why politicians talk about their past drug use. It just generally gets people talking about them too, and makes them more relatable I suppose.
yep, that's me. I can't be in the same room as people who are eating if it's too quiet. Restaurants are fine, but the overnight breakroom at work i almost never use (Yes, even when i myself am eating)
So my girlfriend and I did LSD a couple weeks ago for the first time. it is really hard to get ahold of in America but when I found it I jumped on the chance! It kind of started out feeling nauseous and being angry because I thought that's all that was going to happen. but once it finally kicked in I can tell you it was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had everything was beautiful and dancing. Just beware it does last for up to 15 hours and you can't sleep. so we did it at 11pm at night didn't get any sleep until almost 9 a.m. I would recommend it as long as you're in a safe space with people your very comfortable around because it could be a bad trip otherwise. And I don't even want to experience what a bad trip is like 😂
I can tell you what a bad trip is like, think of the feeling you get when you're having a nightmare, but you're conscious so you cant stop it by waking up. Pretty messed up.
Sips, I've noticed being a bit sweaty/clammy after a long phone call, i put it down to the phone warming up and being pressed to your ear so its making your body think your hotter than you are
Speed in England is Amphetamine Sulphate (Adderall), speed in America is Methamphetamine. Different leagues, one 1000x better but much more addictive than the other
Ayahuasca is very interesting, the drug created from the process of extraction is called DMT, it's one of the most powerful hallucinogenic drugs known. I've had a few experiences with it and have to say it's mindblowing
Gotta love the drug talk here when I've just gotten sober. I can add my knowledge and expertise without feeling so scummy. The needle itself penetrating your veins so frequently with heroin use is what causes the veins to become more difficult to find. You can also damage the veins to a point where your circulation is fucked. Also, Meth isn't that cheap. I don't know much about meth personally, but I know a guy who sold it for years and he said it's actually more expensive than cocaine.
With regard to Pyrion really wanting to do coke: I mean, go for it; of the drugs out there it is totally one you can just try once or twice and not worry about it fucking anything up for you... But by the same token, it's also pretty dull. You'll find yourself talking all night, and your mouth and nose feeling/tasting weird... That's about it!
I had gotten offered a tab 30 minutes before, having done acid maybe 6 months ago I said maybe some other time but after listening to the podcast I decided to reconsider my decision and am on my way to procure said tab, here's one for you Ted
I had a joint while you guys were talking about the cocain in the toilets and you guys are so funny you're my go to podcast to listen to while smoking and I always feel like I'm on sips's brain waves as I have such a dad brain even though I'm only 17
The rubbing cocaine on their gums is because it makes your gums go numb, it's called doing a "numby". Learned that one from the book "Wired", which was a biography about John Belushi I read years ago that went into a lot of detail about his life and career, but also A LOT of detail about all the fucking drugs he did. Good book, which you might enjoy if you liked "Wild and Crazy Guys", but also are super interested in doing cocaine, Pflax.
it's almost like companies that sell opiates make money from people buying opiates and then people can afford to maintain an opiate habit so they moved to something like heroin which is stronger for less money
Went to the wiki "He then goes to the jungle, he takes load of ayahuasca, he shits his pants for two week in a leaf nappy and realizes all of the shit he has been dealing with was trivial, compared to this wanky, horrible diarrhea soaked, soaking wet, drug-addled nonsense experience" GG lads, GG.
I would be too what are you supposed to say? Get into a big discussion about your finances for entertainment? He probably does have a lot of value, but its likely wealth that can be lost due to it being tied to the yogscast so I doubt he's comfortable even acknowledging whatever figure they could have come up with.
Doctors here are very quick to give crazy strong drugs for something small. A co-workers child had a minor dental surgery, and they prescribed him fentanyl.
@Adam Edward I don't know, that's what was offered. I'm sure there are a few doctors or dentists who probably prescribe some pretty heavy stuff for minor things.
Why is no one talking about "devastated, Nicholas leaps off the roof, just as his late father did. He then goes to the jungle, he takes load of ayahuasca, he shits his pants for two week in a leaf nappy and realizes all of the shit he has been dealing with was trivial, compared to this wanky, horrible diarrhea soaked, soaking wet, drug-addled nonsense experience." being on the Wikipedia page?
