I colour - coded my subjects last year, so all my notes, binders, and homework notes in my planner are in the colour that corresponds to the subject. I now have rainbow binders sitting on my shelf for each of my 6 subjects! I feel you on the post - it notes - I want more page flags and sticky notes! If I did use the post - it note method, though, I'd be staring at wherever I put the note for about an hour while I compose an essay/critical response in my head that's worthy of IB standards! I love the pads - I wish I could find ones with bigger page counts! Talking of reuseable water bottles, I was thinking of getting a glass one to go with my plastic one (that's decorated with the periodic table), and a few days after I had thought that my mum brought me a glass tea/water bottle from China! It was honestly brilliant timing, and I love it. :D I WANT THOSE HIGHLIGHTERS! The pastel ones are so much prettier and they can highlight things without overpowering the actual text. I just can't find them anywhere... I got pastel brush pens for my birthday two years ago and I use them all the time, so they would match very nicely! I thought the notebook said "dream bug" at first, not going to lie. XD I'm the opposite - I have stacks and stacks of used notebooks that I've used to write stories or do schoolwork, and I'm constantly buying new ones halfway through because I know I'll need them. Best of luck with your uni, Eve - maybe we'll meet at Christmas if I land an interview for Oxford! That would be amazing! ;)

Hiiii, not much related to the video and I haven't watched it yet but not all uni rooms, including old ones, are cold, and not all uni rooms have bad storage. I lived in a quite old building but we had really good heating (the walls were perhaps thicker than ones at new accommodation but people seem to think that an old building means poor heating which isn't always true) and I only used my blanket (on top of my duvet) once, which was when I came in the Christmas holidays and no one was in so the heating was off and it took a long time to heat up. The rooms retained heat really well, which actually really sucked in May because it was boiling, but it was good in the winter because you really didn't need the heating on 24/7. We didn't have much space in the wardrobe to hang clothes up but we had lots of shelf space in the wardrobe, 3 desk drawers, 3 bedside drawers, 3 big drawers for clothes and a shelf. I didn't need any extra boxes for storing things in. Bear in mind my rent was about £6300 but I was catered and had to share a 2 toilet and 2 shower bathroom between 8 and a small kitchen between 15.
please could you show your freshers week and uni room tour video and also how to deal with siblings moving away from you to go to uni. my sister is leaving me for uni and i dont have any other siblings rip

I have to agree on the pastel highlighters, i have a full pack i bought last year and honestly they're the best thing about taking notes. They are still lasting me aftee a LOT of highlighting and I dont think im ever gonna go back to normal highlighters lol
