If there’s one thing I want removed from this van, it’s the side steps because it gets caught on things like traffic cars.

@@deathtroopercaptain2453Yes but they could have made them half width, we can hang on insurgent or roosevelt without hooking with the car half of the adjacent lane. In vinewood some portions of hills roads are so narrow that you hardly fit, passing a bigger truck.

They could have made the steps moveable/foldable so they are only out when someone actually uses it. And matte/worn colours would have looked much better on the van.

Nah, they never go back to add content to old DLCs. They just go back and ruin job payouts.
I'm 100% positive that Rockstar makes all the job/mission vehicles slow & have less armor so other players can grief people on missions. People who lose money are more likely to just say "f*ck this" and just buy a Shark Card. It's a feature not a bug.

They have a thing called invite only sessions where you can do all your business stuff by yourself and with friends so you can’t get griefed. We’ve been able to do business stuff in invite only sessions for like 2 years now. No reason for you to be getting killed by other players doing your business stuff anymore

Bounty van sucks with the huge footrests having a hit box... Makes you have ton of accidents while driving prisonner back

The moment the mission starts, I get out of the van and drive my personal vehicle until I catch the target and have to use the van

Yeah you can just remove the armour but I don't know how much protection that removes. I only did bounty targets in invite only lobbies so it doesn't make any difference against NPCs. The only difference is with the steps I'd occasionally clip something driving across the map because I got bored and looked at my phone and the van would spin around letting me get shot. Then I removed the armour and it wasn't a problem any more. The van looks a little less cool but it didn't look that cool in the first place

Also odd that the vehicle is in the emergency vehicles category despite not having sirens/lights. It would help a ton to make the traffic disperse, & of course for roleplaying

Yeah I thought I had some modded in my lobby who messed with my game but doing the same mission in invite only session too I had the wheels changed with black paint to it
Rockstar made a weird change 10 years later to the golf blip on the map it was closer to the door of the golf course but is now change further outside the front of the golf course.
I thought it was moved! I just played golf for the first time in a long while last night and noticed this.

Also, i'm pretty sure they blocked out any customizations.Because any customizations would have had to included the police gear, and they didn't want to give that to you yet. They'll probably roll out a second version in another drip feed as the police van.With all the stuff and then charges six million for it.
The fact that the acid lab is pretty fast and durable asf with upgrades makes me sad this van can’t compete in the slightest as is
Another weird thing to me about this van, when requesting it from the interaction menu, its in the manage vehicles category instead of the service vehicles category. I get that service vehicles are vehicles with actual uses but then again the super yacht is there...
I would be happy with removing the damned running boards. If I had a dollar for every time they have caused the vehicle to spin out, or get stuck, I'd be making more than what the two agents bring in.
Another thing I'd love to change is the way Rockstar has coded the physics. Any bump to the bounty van (or countless other delivery vehicles) results in spinning out- no matter where you're hit. They already respawn the enemies to your location blatantly on missions, is it really necessary to make the vehicles we drive useless too?
I sincerely hope mission design takes a huge step forward with GTA6, because online has become the epitome of lazy, half-assed game design.
Seeing that POLBUFFALO in the list hurts. I'm guessing that would have been the FIB Buffalo, which we need so badly in the game.
We got the undercover cruiser so why not the undercover Buffalo as well?
The Police Buffalo is most likely the Buffalo STX but in a cop car form. The FIB Buffalo and standard police Buffalo area already in the game as I think police4 and police3

i wish the bounty van front windshield was bulletproof like the police van
I hate the bail transporter. It's slow but still feels way too light and bounces around whenever it hits something or just goes over a bump. Not even talking about those shitty footrests. But the missions are fun to do for a while. Anyway they should really give us the opportunity to upgrade that pesky van.
Forget the van, why can't I put the npcs in my own police vehicle? Even if I leave the van behind during the mission, it force spawns the van next to me to put the criminals inside. This whole DLC is just a mess and very weird too if we start talking about the other things. The police cars literally have no use or purpose in the police themed DLC.
Seems like an inconsistent trend for vehicles for businesses. The Sparrow for the Kosatka we had to pay for and only had weapon upgrades and paint customization, then the Brickade 6x6 was fully customizable along with the Manchez Scout, and now back to just 2 options with the Burrito.
I always found it peculiar when I was first driving the van how it is labeled “emergency” and how the interior has a police computer in it. Definitely makes me think it was probably used originally for cops n’ crooks missions… 🤔
I just think it's crazy that they canceled a whole update because a career criminal overdosed on fent💀
Regarding POLICET2, I have an idea that Rockstar wanted to do something similar like Sparrow on Kosatka. There are three Sparrow models in the game: Sparrow (the one that can land on water), Sparrow2 (the one that stands in Kosatka with rolled blades) and Sparrow3 (this is exactly the Sparrow that appears in freeroom). I think that the developers wanted to do the same with the bounty van at first, but abandoned this idea, cut out T2 (but forgot /intentionally left the name T2). Then we wanted to add customization, but we didn't have time to add scripts for customization and left it as it is.

Just FYI, Police3 (the knock-off Ford Taurus that the LSPD drives in Online) also has mod parts that we don't have access to. Custom hood, skirts, a spoiler, etc. It's the only vanilla police vehicle that has mod parts.

I would have liked to have awards on the back shelf in office for the 6 most wanted bounties, like we have for salvage robberies.
I just want the annoying side steps removed. They get caught on just about everything.
They need to code their games with more curves it feels like every hitbox grabs onto the character and the car i get stuck very often in this game by walls that my character is just barely touching and the character gets stuck instead of sliding around it. I hope gta6 has more rounded hitboxes that allow more fluid movement that would be a game changer for me.
Supposed to originally be a police van. That's why it has the police computer and radar in the interior. That's also why it has all the hidden customisation the police variant would have
in the chaz mission where your van is exploded and you get a backup van, when i played that mission i felt like that van had some upgrades and felt significantly faster, might’ve been placebo tho

Further evidence that the van was originally supposed to be a cop car is if you look inside the interior you’ll have a radio and computer just like all the other cop cars. So you’d think you’d be able to start the vigilante missions with it but as per usual, you have to drop millions of dollars on an actual cop car to do them🤦♂️

Textbook asset stripping & repurposing.
Take a vehicle like a customisable Police Transport... save it as Version +1, then DELETE/DETACH EVERYTHING (police liveries, siren lights, pushbars), then patch on the minimal amount of assets needed to get it functional for it's new purpose (single livery that can't be removed, single armour setting, etc).
We pay 4 million for the business and can’t even upgrade the main vehicle for that $4 million business😂
I wish I could use my nightclub van for my bounty business! It would be nice to be able to drop proximity mines when you're being tailed! The throwable ones seem to take too long to arm, and your pursuers will just drive right over them.
There is a delay on sticky bombs detonating after you throw. I've found that if you're being chased and the pursuing vehicle is about one or two car lengths behind you just press detonate as soon as you throw. It will hit them and miss you. But yeah prox mines would be fun
It's going to end up like the Vapid Police Interceptor, there's some customization but only accesible via a trainer.

yeah, the performance upgrades should've been there, no question, but the armor plating thing, well, I'm glad we get the maximum upgrades from the jump, what's the point of spending money on something that won't protect you as well as possible just to have an artificial sense of progression?
Idk, kind of like how we have that option on every other vehicle we can put armor plating on lol. The Nightclub sell vehicles for example.

Hi Ghillie, my best guess is time mismanagement for launching it before QA passing. I'm certain they hid those UI either because they failed QA for model or bugs happening due to the T2 vs T3 stored to the file of the car.
you're correct about the van has assets hidden away from menus. It's because they limit the UI front end, yet the backend of the vehicle stores the data type of assets relayed previously.
My guess as of why? Is because T2 was with the police lights as standard, while the team Made t3 to replace a "template" for the bounty version without messing up the codes, especially for missions.
Although it's funny that they're attached to burrito nameplate under a diff file name, theoretically, this mean burrito vans has this modifications if they want to.

Yeah good point isn't it standard equipment for a police vehicle to have a mesh between the driver half and the back half of the vehicle anyway with doors that only open from the outside? Why wouldn't this be an option for these vehicles?
On Laptop in Bottom Dollar Bounty should have "Performance" upgrade so meaning the van will have greatly increase of top speed, acceleration, and brakes for [$317,500] • also beside with "Bail Agents" upgrade that reduces the time required upon completion costly [$909,800] • Lastly "Profit" upgrade which doubled the money both secure and elimination costly [$550,000]
Side Steps Hit Box should be disabled
The one thing that stood out to me is it's a emergency service vehicle and it doesn't have any emergency lights or Serens 🤔🤔
Would be nice to get more weapons like the Scar, M110 marksman, and glock. We also need laser sights! Have different laser colors and flashlight/laser combo, more diversity to scopes too. They could do an update that focuses on all of this and truly gives us the ability to have more customization. I feel like I've been using the same weapons ever since the mk2 variants came out... thats when i thought laser sights and more customization would come, but i was wrong

If you start a bounty and it's in Paleto, jump sessions and restart it. 9/10 times it will be closer.
There's a much simpler explanation. The intern at Rockstar working on this dlc just forgot to implement the customizations.
Bet there's extra options for the tow truck too that they decided to lock away from us. They even limited the amount of colour options for the tow truck and bounty van, which makes no sense at all to me. Why not just let us choose from the whole range of colours that we can at LS Customs? It would've been a nice touch if the tow truck had some livery options too, but nope. I'm just holding out hope that the final DLC is awesome.
From a game development standpoint, it’s seems as though rockstar developers are very unorganized when it comes to a lot of their work. It’s likely that they just copied and pasted the van we get from the nightclub and used that as the base for the bounty van and then added the modifications to the bounty van and then they just forgot to deleted everything from the nightclub van that shouldn’t be on the bounty van. I remember those armor plating from the van we got from the nightclub van. So my theory is that they just copied and past (which is fine it’s a normal practice in the game industry) the nightclub van to make the bounty van and they just forgot to delete everything that wasn’t supposed to be on the bounty van. They did the same with the gauntlet interceptor they left some parts that shouldn’t have been in their like the wheelie chute because the interceptor couldn’t wheelie. It would be cool to see the other police cars come out as well

If this isnt a blacklisted car, it could be possible to merge it. If you have a personal terrorbyte like myself, whatever mods that are on that personal version, get put onto your regular terrorbyte. So if this vehicle isnt blacklisted, it could be the same deal

I wonder if it's just a straight-up "oops, I forgot" moment from Rockstar. It's like every single DLC something is not working, working "too well" for them, missing, or anything else that isn't normal for better or worse.
Hell I'd be happy just to have the option to remove the side steps
I'm not huge on outfits, but I brought the 20 bounties in alive and I'll never be able to wear the bounty outfit.. Having the original version of the game can suck at times. They could have easily added the gear to all versions of the game, and made it unlock in a clothing store once you completed the 20 bounties. And lack of customization for the van, imo is just laziness. Nice to know they exist though and how much less painful the ride to Poleto COULD be lol.

I pulled it on Xbox through MOC to MOC and put it in my bail garage but you can't put insurance on it.
In the last two high profile bounties I've done, the van spawned in with custom wheels, different sets of Muscle wheels each time. So I knew it could have different wheels on it if Rockstar would just LET us...
This van features and upgrades should be comparable with the sell vehicles, as we have to deal with chasers on the way back. So, sleek mines would have been a good upgrade. Also, the ram power on this van is negative zero, a frontal hit makes the van do a 180 turn, purposely made to expose driver to back chasers super aim, and then we get stuck in all the spooked npcs, cause no power to push. Atomizer doesn't help for the stuck situations, while a rhino flies up like a fly. Emergency lights (that real work) would have been a helping feature too, to make easier way thru traffic.R* actual gave us a salvage yard vehicle, that we need to use for a sell mission-like situation.
It's honestly insane that there hasn't been a proper police update in 10 years of updates for a GTA game. Literally one of the most obvious updates but somehow we got an update where we stop a billionaire and his AI from launching nukes to destroy the world before we got a police update.
You only have to drive it back with the bounty, you can go get it with any vehicle and it will spawn when you apprehend the bounty.
The side steps are not intended for getting into the van. The side steps are intended to hang players outside the van if you are riding with the bounty in the back and a player is sitting next to you as a passenger. The third person hangs outside on one of the side steps
If there’s a way to merge the bounty van, that can get said upgrades applied to it
It’s the same with the tow truck you can use it in story mode but when they added it to online you can call it a mess around with it
Bounty van being barred from upgrades is a method of _Artificial Game Lengthening_ I've never anticipated R* to implement, but here we are.

I’ve noticed that on certain special bounties the wheels of the van will change from the regular wheels into some wheels from the muscle class (I’m on pc)
To give them the benefit of the doubt, certain upgrades could be buggy atm, similar to how the normal kuruma used to be armoured with certain liveries
Upgrades are probably drip feed or after you've completed a certain amount of bounties you unlock it

having recently driven the van in 1st person for checking out the speed and although not reliable it seems to be clocking at about 120 so as a van it seems pretty fast as is.
The bounty van seems like its faster than a fully upgraded van of the same type.
Me personally, i wanted to use the rumpo custom.
We all thought rockstar wasnt making much content but it turns out they make it but dont even give it to us 💀
we needed upgrades for this vehicle, it sucks the way it is. If you hit a rock in the road, it spins out and takes 20 minutes to get back up to speed.
Not really related to the video but if you upgrade the new paragon S with secondary mirrors, it only paints the driver side and leaves the passenger stock, but the carbon works for both sides. Noticed it when I built mine and thought it was odd
BTW we can’t even upgrade nor customize the agency provided Enus Jubliee. WTF R* would be great if we can both customize and upgrade. Lamar’s car, Franklins car, Imani’s bike, and so one if there’s more in other vehicles in the Agency
Rockstar intentionally neutering their DLCs to make us lose interest in 5 in preparation for 6. It’s not just laziness, it’s intentionally hostile development choices.
You also already know we’ll NEVER see these upgrades made available later on. Rockstar never goes back to change previous DLCs unless it’s to screw up the payouts or something. But hey, we reap what we sow. We supported and continue to support Rockstar and they continue to rot like a dead tree.
I can't tell you how many times those sidesteps got hung up on other cars it's aggravating
Not having access to all of this is beyond stupid.
I wouldn't mind a scoop on the front to knock enemy cars out of the way, as it gets beyond annoying when one just clips you and you spin the hell out.
R* is Trolling their customers/player's since they have been for awhile now.
