Great tip man! Thanks for sharing. The 1st LS swap I did, I left the sensors that came with the engine, never had an issue for over a year, but it drove so much better when I installed new sensors.

Great idea, except enjoy replacing those sensors a few months down the road again. If you’re going to replace the factory sensors at least have the common sense to use genuine AC Delco ones!! These cheap autozone duralast will fail quickly and will have you replacing them again, albeit when the engine is in a vehicle and not so easy to do. Don’t cheap out when replacing sensors. Anything but AC Delco knock or cam/crank sensors are an absolute waste of your time. You’ll save a few bucks and end up wasting hours of time re-doing your work when the cheap ones fail.

Thanks for the video! I just stumbled on this video and figured I'd watch and what do you know... my junkyard block is missing 2 sensors you replaced. Now I know where they go as well 😂

If you are going to use autozone sensors, I better leave the used ones because I know they are original! 😊

I hear Denso sensors are good.

You will definitely know the shape of those cheap ass duralast sensors you are putting in. Good luck on that. I’ll pass.
