Many of these cleaners are not available in the UK. I use Swarfega (original non pumice formula) seems to work great.

Was this Singer sewing machine produced in Great Britain? It is a different model and with mechanical resources little known in other Singer. In Brazil there were no such models.

Hi Elder. To my knowledge, these were made in South Carolina for the US market. Variations on this design were produced in Germany but not the UK or Brazil as far as I know.

Ah! I know that cleaner brand; off to my local Canadian Tire to pick some up and start cleaning up the 403 that I found last year. :)

Hello. Thank you so much for all of your helpful videos! I purchased a Kenmore 158.1757 machine. Would this type of hand cleaner be appropriate to clean the outside of this machine? Do you need to rinse off the hand cleaner with damp towel after using or just wipe excess off? I just don’t want to leave any residual that would dull/damage finish. Thank you!

Not sure but to be safe, I would clean off the residue which would also keep it off of your sewing cloth/item.

When I used 3in1 to unlock/un stick the stitch selector up top, now how do I get the 3in1 off? Alcohol?
