Hi! I appreciate your info. Basically it’s like you’re acting as a patient advocate for those people going through this and those of us who might, one day, since we never know what might happen to us. Have a lovely day.
For the metal taste use plastic silverware, believe it or not it does help, also drinking lemonade or lemon water during your meal helps if you take a sip just before eating and during your meal, or chewing a piece of mint gum before eating helps.
Your right it is what is it is and it suck's. I had the same phlegm issue, it's like my saliva became real thick and was getting stuck in my throat like a post nasal drip and also my tongue had a thick white coating, nothing like finally falling asleep just to get woken up choking on phlegm. I started using a dry mouth oral rinse and that seemed to help, I also found if I used it before eating it seemed to help with the metal taste of food, I wish it would have worked for the first bite syndrome but nothing seemed to help that. Keep up the good fight.
Yepp..had it and still although not as prominent. Im bout 9 mnths post treatments..the metal taste is still here . I find anything sweet , like grapes or oranges..they taste like shit ! Apologies. Its true though.
Hey Seth! Good to see a video from you.
Keep fighting Seth

I’m sorry you’re dealing with this.
Thank you. Doing the best I can; it's getting old though.
