Shakespeare's best play---so very clever and funny as it reduces love and gender to a status of relativity.

In my opinion, I don't think the underlying message of this play is, "Stop acting like life is a party," or, "live a wiser life... and be who you are... an adult." This play depicts the exact opposite of what one of the speaker's just said. Through the character of Sir Toby, adults are taught to live freely and not take life seriously. We, society, should enjoy our lives; and then I suppose find some balance between being grown-up and lively freely.

"I'm sure care's an enemy to life" "Dost think because thou art virtuous that there shall be no more cakes and ale?" "Ay and ginger shall be hot in the mouth" I always saw the theme of "Hurry up and enjoy life today because you could die of plague tomorrow"

I think the message that delivered through this play, is DONT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER coz who are shown as wit are fool in the end and who are portrayed as fool are actually wit
