- a compilation and evolution of ursula's terrifying evil laughs in the little mermaid! for some of these laughs, there were older versions available so i included them! very interested to see how melissa mccarthy pulls off the iconic laugh. pat carroll is a disney LEGEND and i believe ursula's is the greatest villain laugh of all time.

Pat Carroll IS the animated version of Ursula! Rest In Peace to her. I’m sure Melissa McCarthy will honour Carroll with the live action version of Ursula. And furthermore, I’m excited for The Little Mermaid (2023 Remake)!

Oh I love this! My favorite ones are the transformation into Vanessa because of that noise she makes in the middle, I think she farted but some say she snorted, either way it shows how out of control she got with laughter. And I also love the one when Vanessa looks in the mirror because of how it starts with her higher-pitched “hahaha” into Ursula’s beefier “HOHOHOHO!”

Pat Carroll definitely captured the more monstrous aspects of Ursula with her voice.

Pat Carroll's devilish laughter is in between Baron Samedi's laugh and Marshall D. Teach's laughs in my list of best villain laughs.
It is rather surprising how Ariel and Eric are cuddling at 01:53 even while seeing Ursula as a giant sea monster.
I like the workprint at 00:11 version better. More laughing that way.

I just realized that they used Ursula’s deleted laugh in ‘Ursula & Tritons deal’ as her ending laugh in ‘Ariel’s transformation’

Even if Ursula's evil laughter is not low-pitched like the one ranging from 01:32 to 02:01, it still sounds very demonic.
At first, I thought that evil coachman from Disney's Pinocchio was similar to Ursula, here in Disney's The Little Mermaid.

Well, Pat Carroll's Ursula voice definitely sounded like an evil octopid and an evil cephalopod, even while doing Ursula's signature evil laugh.

I say both. Glenn Close's version of Cruella's laugh was scary, and Pat Carroll scared me in the Ursula's demise scene.

at some point yeah! i’ve never really been interested in the television serious so i don’t know all the laughs but i will do it at some point
@@justyourvoice I can give you plenty of pointers on that one. For example how Ursula - sadly - only appears in four episodes in the series. Against the Tide, Heroes, Ariel’s Treasures, and A Tail of Two Crabs.
