Just today, I started looking up info about soap making for my niece for Christmas. I live in North Carolina and she lives in California. I find it funny that so many of the comments show how much your fans really love you. I've watched 3 of your videos and I've fallen in love with you too! You are so warm and friendly. I could watch your videos all day. Your soaps are quite beautiful, by the way...
In many respects the worse thing I ever did was to take my hobby and turn it into a career because like you now I'm fighting perpetual creativity and stagnation tenancies. I usually find the low points happen immediately after the busy periods (now after Christmas as a fore-instance), its fleeting but really annoying when I'm going through it. Testing new scents can make me snap out of it and I'm planning a line of nut milk soaps and have just started making my own milks from scratch to use in them, so at the moment I'm back in the saddle feeling good. Maybe do a line of shaving soaps with KOH? Big fan and always love what you do. X

Tiggy, I love watching and listening to your videos as well as your no nonsense approach to life. We all struggle as creators at times. I tend to get stuck in my head a lot but watching people like you really pull me out and help me to realize that we are just human. I've wanted to start watching the Fargo series and may start tonight. If you have Amazon Prime, Goliath with Billy Bob Thornton is a really good series as well!

I noticed last week you had 9,998 and I commented to my husband you only needed 2 more to reach 10,000 he offered to subscribe and I told him that was kind but wouldn't be true subscribers. So glad it happened for you, and without my husband and son's help!;-) beautiful soap, as usual!! I'm sorry to hear you were feeling down or out of it. Definitely happens to many of us, myself included. If you ever get the chance to visit the states we'd love to meet you in person. We're in Colorado, where there is tons of natural beauty and quiet. I agree that watching soap making videos is so relaxing. I'm a hobby soap maker (just for myself and family) and still constantly watch soap making videos. Yours are some of my faves. It just calms my nerves to watch your videos.

I think everyone understands if they've been making soap for any length of time, exactly what you mean. I'm a serious soap hobbyist. I have been tempted at different times to go further into a business, but I have resisted because I don't want a job, along with the slumps that are just a part of having to do... versus getting to do. I love making soap. Even if it does tend to pile up because there are so many new ideas and fragrance's to try:) I do sometimes need to sell some of it. Tis a dilemma!! Anyway your an artist and I always get inspired watching you. Thank you!!

I'm well, for practical intents & purposes a new subscriber. I recently found your channel and I can't tell you how glad I am that I did. I've been binge watching your channel, because not only am I in awe of your talent, I just love the way you make the viewers feel so comfortable - it's like going to a friends and sitting down in a nice comfy chair while enjoying a hazelnut coffee and a wonderful visit. I've wanted to try soaping for a good while now - I decide to do it, and each time I talk myself out of it, because I know it would be your basic exercise in futility, a major flop. You have raised my comfort level astronomically - I think in part, because I see a number of common traits in your personality and they way you speak - It's that "nice visit for coffee with a friend", down to earth, no rush ease you project, it's very nice - comfortable. I don't mean to sound creeperish, but you've been absolutely inspiring, and I've decided (yet again) to try soaping again - except this time, I'll not discuss it with myself at all. Thank you for that, because I do need to find something to do that would be not only be a great way to express myself, and be of a "therapeutic nature", but would be a useful endeavor as well. I look forward to seeing more from you!

ooooh, nice colors, and scent. i really learned to like figs. my dad grew figs in his back yard in his later years. and herr would make fig jam. super yum. i h ad never had it when i was young. mom would buy fig newtons when we were kids. no comparison though. fresh figs even in jam. are super yummo.

I'm making the switch from corporate because I'm not at all happy, but I do worry about not making enough money to support myself and about losing drive and creativity sometimes. It's good to know I', not alien in having these feelings. BTW, I can totally see you living in a cute cottage in Cornwall, creating your bars on a massive railroad sleeper table in the kitchen. :o)

As creative people do sometimes, we tend to hit roadblocks of the mind. Where our "common" part of us takes over and doesn't let our "creative" part be free. Luckily, it usually doesn't take much to push that bitch back and get back to our "normal". Personally, I'd rather be poor, creative, and happy, than rich, common, and unhappy with a boss. As for your taste in music... Tiggy, nothing surprises me! You're a true crime, mystery, thrill watching, creative person! You can't cage a creative person into 1 genre' of music🤷♀️💜
I'll never have that house either. I'm a pediatric Hem/Onc nurse in the states & I know that feeling, but, I love what I do & could never be sane having the jobs that bring in the big money. #aDifferentKindOfRich

PS I'm definitely stealing the light blue base. It gave me major Robin's egg blue springy vibes. LOL so cute. You're such an inspiration to me at least. Please don't feel like you aren't creative or get in a rut (easy to say, I know) you've changed your soaps so much and you're always relaxed in the soap room and it shows in the soaps. Remember the cool soap that looked like poppies when you chucked in dusty balls? Or just your jet black soap with prim little gold drips? Or using oil cloth to be green and reusable before it became the vogue? Chopstick swirls and the "Tiggy peaks" You're fine. Trust me. We absolutely don't think you're boring 😉 don't be sad about yourself 🤗

Lol! I don't have kids, just my whippet. I've been around skating all my life. Matt still skates at 42. It never leaves you. Skateboarders are a worldwide collective of like minded people. If it weren't for skating my musical tastes would have been left somewhere in 1983! Haha! I owe a lot to the sport xxx

Everyone has something to wish for,I would love your life making soap for my own products shop, I love to watch you soap. At the moment I would love a soap cutter because in Tasmania Australia we have no suppliers for soap,candles,wax or cutters so takes more than 2 weeks to get delivery and nowhere near the choices of fragrances and micas

Hi! I use terracotta mica from mica moma, which gives a good red. Also any neon red mica mixed with aussie reef red clay will stick well but I'm not sure you'd want a whole soap made with it as it could stain. I've never made a red soap before, only a soap with red in it xx
