I have a question more than a comment. What became of the nose art on all our war birds? It just seems shortly after wwii it just faded away. I just always thought that added a little something special on our fighters.

F-15 taking off with afterburners inevitably brings memories of Operation Desert Storm in Iraq... I don't know whether my memory serves my correctly but I have these pictures of F-15 and/or F-16 relentlessly taking off at night, which was very fascinating to my youngster's mind.

This could have been a much better video if it wasn’t choppy and a messed up picture quality. I did like seeing what goes on for the launch crew probably because I did this for many years and have worked on most of those F-15E models at the flight ramp at the factory.
