I always find it fascinating just how different and same the south slavic languages are to other slavs (russian in this case), i can understand it somewhat and some words are closer to archaic versions but some words are just not understandable at all. Like 'Radujem se tebi ja, ti moja si, i noć i dan' can be somewhat understood as 'Радуем же тебя я, ты моя, и ночь и день' which makes no sense and this is because the first word is actually translated as 'я с нетерпением жду этого' so now it can be translated as 'Я с нетерпением жду тебя, ты моя, и ночь и день' which now makes sense.
