Honestly, I think if there's a character that was consistently "nice" throughout the entire run of the show, it was Cosgrove.

Yes! Harry was always selfish from season 1.

Aside from that one retarded people joke and a little douchiness in season one, I think Ken was in fact the most decent guy on the show. I loved his little alliance with Peggy and how she rooted for his writing career.

That became the case, but it wasn't for the first few episodes. Early on he was very much "one of the guys".

I always saw Crane as being one of the most competent ad men in SCDP. He sees all the things the others do but is much more savvy on media and television. He just doesn't have the confidence to put his foot down every once in a while.

Harry was that way all along...the opportunities that he earned just made it easier and he leaned into it.

Unless there is a story about a charectors personal life you don't really know who they are.
Yeah thats exactly what was wrong with the original law and order

It wasn’t about the characters though. Different type of show. And -also - the first 9 seasons of Law and Order are perfect.

Perhaps its because of that last reason that we find ourselves so attached and fascinated with Donald Draper

what'd he do? I mean, do you know him? I'm inclined to believe you- I'm just curious.
His character is interesting, though, right? You can tell he's going to be, like, on the wrong side of history. He's weak, small-minded, &c &c. Could be interesting to see how that pans out.

While I am always inclined to believe that an actor--any actor--is a jerk, merely saying that he is a jerk isn't that convincing unless you're specific. Otherwise it sounds bitter.
