Culver's is so good. I would never say no to that! Don Julio makes some tortilla chips that are lightly seasoned and they are so good, maybe similar to the ones you bought. And instant mashed potatoes are great for a quick easy side. Looks like a fun haul!
We made a homemade glue clay map of South America. It took awhile to dry but then we painted it. Afterwards we put some type of shellac on it and it lasted so long.
Yes, I am tired of Walmart. Especially because I always have my 4 yo and 2 yo with me, and all the 4 yo asks for is toys.... So after Dollar General was built 5 minutes away from me and watching all the Aldi Hauls, those have been my two stores. Honestly, there's so far only one thing I can't find but can live without.

Our Walmart makes me crazy!! I shop like you.....look at flyers, go yo different stores for different items on sale and meal plan accordingly. I save so much more money! I plan my trip the most economical way driving to not waste time or money. This way I can stock up at the best prices and save the most money. From Montgomery al 🙏 ❤
Those tortilla chips are made in my hometown, and really they’re delicious! They also make salsas, hummus, and other deli style dips. It’s all delicious 🙂
I am with you on staying out of Walmart! I have been buying a lot of their Great Value food items, but recently I've noticed that the quality of some of those items has just faltered. I don't know if they switched suppliers or what the deal is.....but I would rather pay a little more for a better-quality product. Also, Walmart is raising prices and so, I am finding that I can shop more locally and not really spend any more money than I would at Walmart.

I shop at Walmart maybe three times a year. The store is huge and hard to find things if, shopping time is short. I shop online and have things delivered to the door at times, I like that better.
Because of the Ibotta they bought your Thanksgiving we tried the Idaho instant mashed and I have never eaten instant before snd they are so good. I cannot tell you how many I have eaten since then. Great stuff!
I think it's s great idea to shop at the smaller store , I started that actually 2019 it has been better for my family budget wise, if you have a Walgreens near by I like them for toiletries, household items and you save a lot and get really great rewards, they have great coupons

He was homeschooled all the way to his Sophomore year, but really wanted to go to our local school. It's a tiny, rural school. He wanted to do all 4 years and the school counselor approved it. Meat isn't a weird gift at all, my mom used to love to give her son-in-laws really nice meat and they always appreciated it. Hubs and I didn't do gifts this year, we paid off the house instead. Maria is so cute in her prairie hat. I remember making and wearing one in the 70's. How strong is the sillage on the Dossier fragrances? The rhubarb sounds really nice but I have allergies to perfume now and have to keep to super light. I understand your feeling about Walmart but I do have to go there for a few certain items. Oh yes, zippers would definitely be a present. Hubby wants a Carhartt jacket zipper replaced. I'm an experienced sewer but am not looking forward to that project! You are a good shopper and it was nice you shared your haul. Whatever Culvers is it must be good for everybody to be so excited about it. :)
It's funny when you talk about all the prices for pick n save because it's a Kroger and I work for Kroger and do all the pricing so when you say all these different prices I'm like yep I put that on. It's a good thing to keep an eye on our weekly sales because we've been doing some really good ones

One thing I will say for Walmart I go to three different pantry pick ups for seniors to help out in these times. Walmart is one of the most generous givers.

I shop for veggies, fruit, bread and cheese on Saturday morning at the market , and for the rest of my groceries it's usually one of the 3 carrefour near my house depending on what I'm looking for. As a big foodie I dream of going to the US one day just to see what brands you have and try all the different breakfast cereals that I grew up seeing on TV ! Seattle , I won't be late I promise. On a side note, that neufchatel cream cheese made me smile big time . You guys can take any cheese and I mean ANY cheese and make it all American! It's named after the village where it's made neufchatel-en-bray and it's usually shaped like a heart . Very sharp taste and very crumbly in the inside. Perfect with red wine and a good hearty sourdough bread!

Good for you fixing the flannels - I would purchase a new one or send them to his mom to fix! I am not a seamstress! I used to think people were picky when they would complain about Walmart, but in the past year I have avoided that store. The crowds, the disorganization, and the sometimes rudeness of workers and customers alike leave me frazzled and grouchy. I only have a few things that I can only get there, so I have reduced the time spent there by a lot. I have been using Aldi and Fareway or HyVee for what I cannot get at Aldi. Their diapers are my favorite. I actually don't go into Walmart often. I usually do a pickup order. If I do have to go in I try to get there when they first open on a Saturday morning.

Our local caterer uses Idahoan brand so if we use them, that is what I use.
