When Teya was a sophomore in high school, she had a close group of friends. However, her friend group started to get toxic. Everyone would talk about each other behind their backs, but when they would see each other and hang out as a group, they would all act like nothing ever happened. It started to bother Teya.
Teya happened to be good friends with this guy James - a cute football player that a lot of girls had a crush on. But Teya and James truly were just friends, and they would hang out and talk often. However, Teya had no idea that one of her friends, Lucy, had a HUGE crush on James.
One day at lunch, James sent Teya a funny meme, so Teya decided to show the text to her friends at the table. She instantly noticed that Lucy was mad, but she had no idea why. Then, all of a sudden, Lucy and the rest of Teya's friends started using sign language to communicate. Teya didn't take sign language, so she had no idea what they were saying.
Teya leaned over her friend Lily and asked what they were all signing about. Lily told her that Lucy was really upset, and she was telling the rest of the friend group that Teya was trying to steal James from her. Teya was super confused and really upset.
Later that night, Teya was focusing on a Spanish project when she received a troubling text from her friend, asking if she was okay. Teya was confused and asked what she meant, and her friend FaceTimed her saying that a group chat had been created called "We Hate Teya."
Teya's friend started sending her screenshots of the conversation, and Teya was instantly crushed. She read horrible messages about herself, written by her friends and other people from her school. People were saying that Teya was annyoing and trying to steal James from Lucy on purpose. She read really hateful messages, and she couldn't believe what she was seeing.
Instantly, Teya felt sick to her stomach. Her mom ran upstairs as she started screaming, and she ran to the bathroom and threw up. As she sat over the toilet, she started crying hysterically. She felt mentally broken down.
The next day at school, Teya felt really worthless. Only one of the girls from her friend group stood up for her, and she felt like she lost all of her friends. It was really hard for her to face the truth - her friend group was toxic.
Teya's a senior now, and she actually has a class with Lucy. They aren't friends anymore - and there were always be awkward tension between them - but Teya has chosen to forgive her and move on. Now, Teya is on dance team and has a much better group of friends. Her advice to everyone watching is to avoid toxic friend groups and focus on healthy relationships because, otherwise, you will be dragged down with the negativity and the toxic energy.

Wow... I went through a very similar experience. Like, there was this group chat created by me in which I added these "friends" of mine thinking they would get along. Little did I know they would all ,except from one loyal friend, turn against me due to some lies made up by two of my supposedly friends that refused to accept that they hurt me.
Those two are the type of people that don't like to take responsibility for their actions, and even though I apologized to them 'cause in the past I didnt realize that I also made some mistakes (I learned the lesson and it helped me grow btw), they dramatized what really happened and made up some shit to make me look like the villain of the story.
It's still something kind of hard to digest from time to time, but in the end I'm grateful for all the toxic people that are not in my life anymore. Eventually, I decided to become a better person than the people who hurt me. So, if there's anyone out there that feels insecure in their own skin thanks to this kind of people, I just want to let you know that they ain't worth your time and that no matter how much damage their actions caused you; it's not your fault. It was THEIR decision.
As the girl from the story, I finally got to meet new friends - and also noticed that some of them were always there, but I was too busy being under the shadow of my past friendships that it was hard to acknowledge at first -who actually care about my wellbeing and inspire me to keep on going💛
Back in my 6th grade class, there was literally so much tension between all of the girls and the atmosphere was so thick that you could cut it, with like, A KNIFE. Tbh had a story like this,
Friends with girl, she brings me into the group. Group with pregnany girl. People talk shit about her. I try to see the good in people so I ignore it.
Fast forward a few years I'm in college. Pregnant girl graduated too we hang out at my house a lot. Anyway I buy her shoes for work and stuff for her baby because I have a better job. She starts telling me her boyfriend beats her so I let her stay over a few nights to protect her and her baby. Anyway long story short she ends up breaking into my house to steal my Disney money and my ps4 and my Xbox. The rest of our friends are still friends with her and it fucking hurts because I know they chose her over me and they still try to act like they're my friends even though we all know that they know what she did and could probably help me but chose not to.
Moral of the story listen to what people say and keep it in your mind. Even if you don't believe it its better to know that just in case.

So one time I was waving goodbye to my mom then I accidentally let my finger in the electric fan. It then kept cutting my finger then when I looked at it, I was shocked and somehow I didn't feel it and I guess it was my andrenaline but I didn't even do running or walking that early on the day. I was just like: "What the HE-" eventually it healed. My finger is still connected and yeah. Always be alert of your surroundings.

I was in a VERY toxic class. Not even friend group, my freaking class. Every girl there is being nice to others but it's pretty soon that you notice that they're all just gossiping about eachother behind their backs. Our teacher noticed nothing and kept telling others how our class is so great and everyone is so nice. One of the more sensitive girls in my class just stopped coming to school and all the girls pretended to be really sad but they kept JOKING about her. I started to have enough and one day just stayed in bed crying while texting my mom to tell the teachers I'm sick, this happened a lot and I actually CHOSE to fail that grade. I was the youngest of the class and if I was even a month younger I would have went to school a year later anyway. I had always been friends with the kids 1 class lower so now I have many friends :D I didn't take my meds today and I had to release my adhd energy somehow, back to reading warrior cats now bye!

The exact same thing happened to me I have a friend group and there's one girl that's toxic and she has a crush on a guy who likes me and everytime I talk to him since were really good friends she'd say that I'm trying to steal him ir flirt with him she would talk about two of our other friends behind there back with me. Just tell them that you don’t want to friends with them anymore. End it politely, don’t accuse them of anything or it will get worse. Once they read it, block them.

I can totally relate to this story. I had a friend who was toxic and I felt that she was always around me anytime I told people how she had been treating me (even the teachers). Next thing you know she acts all nice as if nothing ever happened.

I don't really have advice since I've never been in a group like that.. maybe try confronting them and telling them that you don't wanna be with them anymore. They'll probably lash out in different ways if they're really toxic but those words will mean nothing as soon as you leave and find new and better people.

KSD On YT I left a toxic friend, just say this and end it with a polite note:
“Hey, I’m sorry but I don’t really want to be friends anymore it isn’t really working out. I don’t want you to get hurt but you hurt me in a way. I’m sorry, have a nice day.”
Let them read it, and then block them. Hope this helped you.
This is why i try and be friends with everyone in the classroom, whe. That friend group becomes toxic i just switch to another one and continue having fun and socializing
