When Teya was a sophomore in high school, she had a close group of friends. However, her friend group started to get toxic. Everyone would talk about each other behind their backs, but when they would see each other and hang out as a group, they would all act like nothing ever happened. It started to bother Teya.
Teya happened to be good friends with this guy James - a cute football player that a lot of girls had a crush on. But Teya and James truly were just friends, and they would hang out and talk often. However, Teya had no idea that one of her friends, Lucy, had a HUGE crush on James.
One day at lunch, James sent Teya a funny meme, so Teya decided to show the text to her friends at the table. She instantly noticed that Lucy was mad, but she had no idea why. Then, all of a sudden, Lucy and the rest of Teya's friends started using sign language to communicate. Teya didn't take sign language, so she had no idea what they were saying.
Teya leaned over her friend Lily and asked what they were all signing about. Lily told her that Lucy was really upset, and she was telling the rest of the friend group that Teya was trying to steal James from her. Teya was super confused and really upset.
Later that night, Teya was focusing on a Spanish project when she received a troubling text from her friend, asking if she was okay. Teya was confused and asked what she meant, and her friend FaceTimed her saying that a group chat had been created called "We Hate Teya."
Teya's friend started sending her screenshots of the conversation, and Teya was instantly crushed. She read horrible messages about herself, written by her friends and other people from her school. People were saying that Teya was annyoing and trying to steal James from Lucy on purpose. She read really hateful messages, and she couldn't believe what she was seeing.
Instantly, Teya felt sick to her stomach. Her mom ran upstairs as she started screaming, and she ran to the bathroom and threw up. As she sat over the toilet, she started crying hysterically. She felt mentally broken down.
The next day at school, Teya felt really worthless. Only one of the girls from her friend group stood up for her, and she felt like she lost all of her friends. It was really hard for her to face the truth - her friend group was toxic.
Teya's a senior now, and she actually has a class with Lucy. They aren't friends anymore - and there were always be awkward tension between them - but Teya has chosen to forgive her and move on. Now, Teya is on dance team and has a much better group of friends. Her advice to everyone watching is to avoid toxic friend groups and focus on healthy relationships because, otherwise, you will be dragged down with the negativity and the toxic energy.

Tbh had a story like this,
Friends with girl, she brings me into the group. Group with pregnany girl. People talk shit about her. I try to see the good in people so I ignore it.
Fast forward a few years I'm in college. Pregnant girl graduated too we hang out at my house a lot. Anyway I buy her shoes for work and stuff for her baby because I have a better job. She starts telling me her boyfriend beats her so I let her stay over a few nights to protect her and her baby. Anyway long story short she ends up breaking into my house to steal my Disney money and my ps4 and my Xbox. The rest of our friends are still friends with her and it fucking hurts because I know they chose her over me and they still try to act like they're my friends even though we all know that they know what she did and could probably help me but chose not to.
Moral of the story listen to what people say and keep it in your mind. Even if you don't believe it its better to know that just in case.

I genuinely love that the stories feel real. When it's not about real experiences that can seriously hurt somebody, it's just funny short stories that sound like things kids do and experience.
Been there, done that. Got some blackmailed for what they did to me so have them a taste of their own medicine while other I just move on from my life.

The exact same thing happened to me I have a friend group and there's one girl that's toxic and she has a crush on a guy who likes me and everytime I talk to him since were really good friends she'd say that I'm trying to steal him ir flirt with him she would talk about two of our other friends behind there back with me. I'm the class clown and I was okay with people SOMETIMES invading my privacy I didn't think much of it but now she's drags me around like I'm her puppet and if I don't wanna do what she wants to do she argues with me and leaves she wants everything her way and the 3 of us think it's pretty annoying so we all cut her off now she thinks everybody is against her and I'm trying to "steal her man" but me and him are dating now and she still talks behind my back and everyone's back she cannot be trusted...😂

I have had a friend group IRL and it was TOXIC like I can't even tell you the amount of toxic and I ended my friendship them one time we were at school and we were having our lunch I accidentally dropped some of my water on one of my friends lunch bags and they making a HUGE deal about it even though they could have just wiped it off with a tissue and they started grabbing me like full on one of my real friends also started grabbing me and at that point I knew I had to get some help so I pushed them away and had one last look at my "real friend" who grabbed me with them and I ran to one of the teachers and told them what happened and the teacher to my surprise took their side and they started grabbing me again in front of her and after I explained what happened the teacher started saying did you say sorry to them and I said that no I didn't because they didn't give me a chance because they didn't give me a chance to say sorry and the teacher said no no you should have said sorry the thing you did was really bad to me and I was shocked like full on the teacher said nothing absolutely nothing to my toxic friend group and I said sorry and then they let me go and I ran full speed to my real friends and told them everything and stopped hanging out with my toxic friend group from that day and know I have another toxic friend I need to take care of

Wow, this was so relatable. I was in a group of really toxic friends for a long time and couldn’t bring myself to leave them. Eventually, I stood up for myself and found two amazing new best friends!!

I feel really bad for this girl because something similar happened to me so my advice for people who may be having feelings like this, stay strong and don't let people define you. There will be toxic people out there so just remember to stay away from them. Thank you :)
Story:
So I live in a country where it barely rains so whenever it did everyone got really happy one time in shcool it started raining and the school had bad drainage so the principal said everyone evacuate the school immediately and you can go home early so everyone got so excited, but then it started raining really heavily I managed to leave class and I was at the staircase but then the principal said nevermind everyone stay inside but by the time the principal said that I was downstairs along with many others it was crowded and then I looked down and there was some water on the floor and when I looked beside me there was a washroom and in the washroom the ceiling was leaking then suddenly a huge chunk of the cieling broke down and water was gushing through everyone ran upstairs and I went to my class and sat down and only in my class the cieling was leaking so we were moved to another room after some time the rain stopped and we were evacuated.

Back in my 6th grade class, there was literally so much tension between all of the girls and the atmosphere was so thick that you could cut it, with like, A KNIFE. I swear, anybody's own toxic friendships can get as heavy as Chernobyl. Even when you're still in middle school and shit, all that stuff can still go down super badly.

I used to be in a toxic friend group. I’m Genderfluid and sometimes they’d make fun of it. I was a boy one day and they’d assume I’m a girl. I’d be a girl one day and they’d assume I’m a boy. I escaped them immediately and now I have a great group of friends who accept me.
