    DC was a better heavyweight than light heavyweight. He has legit one punch power at heavyweight and loses it completely at 205. That's how much he had to be drained for Jones to cheat against him. DC vs Jones at heavyweight would be different.

    • @arman_llc624
      @arman_llc624 13 дней назад +9

      Most LHW’s are a lot more skilled then heavyweights. Thats why DC had so much success as the smaller guy in Heavyweight against slower and less skilled opponents like stipe and Derrick lewis who has no ground game. Prime Jon would easily beat every heavyweight not named Francis or aspinall.

    Stipe has an 80 inch reach and I can't remember Jones fighting anyone that close to his 84 inch reach? So the normal places Jon Jones feels safe striking with other opponents he won't be safe against Stipe. The major factor will be can Stipe keep up in speed at 42 or will he be overwhelmed by Jones' speed and quickness. Also will Jon Shoot on Stipe in the first 2 minutes? I think Jon sees a submission in Round 1 as his best option to gain victory quickly. Jones has been training with all of those guys like Gordon Ryan and that seems to be Jon's game plan at this weight class. But Jones' footwork has slowed over the last few fights and if Stipe can be proactive and push the pace this might be a really good fight. It will either be a 1 round decimation or long drawn out war but nothing in between.

    • @mrspiff6955

      Jon has put on weight and won’t have a speed advantage over Stipe. And Stipe is a good wrestler and is very tough. I’m sure he’s been preparing for Jon’s wrestling. If Jon can’t get it done in the first 2 rounds, he’ll be in serious trouble. Stipe is very difficult to put away. Jon is not Ngannou.

    If DC had been a few years younger in the Miocic fights he would have won the feud. I really like Miocic and he deserves everything he has but i believe DC is the more skilled fighter.

    • @shaidanwheel6199
      @shaidanwheel6199 12 дней назад

      I agree with dc better skilled but skill alone is not enough. He does not have the grit to slug it out. He lost to stipe fair and square. Ifs and would are just excuses. Better fighter always wins.

    In DC’s mind he doesn’t care about the stipe losses and I don’t think he even counts the third fight because he knew was old and way out of prime lol whereas the jones fights he knew for a fact he wasn’t as good

    • @shaidanwheel6199
      @shaidanwheel6199 12 дней назад +1

      DC always thought he was better than anyone except Jones. However, he lost to stipe in second fight fair. It's not a lucky punch. Jones to soften dc for three rounds. However, the moment stipe found the weakness he walked through dcs best shots and tkoed him. Stipe is a beast.
      I still wonder what made stipe take so much unnecessary punishment in that fight. It's not that hard to find weakness of dc. Jones written a blue print on it

    Jones get nice beating from Gustafsson 1st fight... He's head was like my TV. Jones is picking the fights, no true champ... should go against Aspinal and not old rusty Stipe who was sitting 3 years and didn't get 3rd against Ngannou (he did win 1st) like DC did against Stipe. Not fair for greatest ufc HW last fight. Bones is the Dana's boy like McGregor or Rousey... Shame also how he treated Mighty mouse.

  • @Mr_Northmann

    The one thing Jon isn't lacking regardless of the weight class....he's a flat out killer, superior cage intelligence and he has the will and desire to simply win....and if it weren't for that bogus rule the G.O.A.T. would be 28-0 with 15 title defenses with most of those wins coming from "Proven" PED users. The haters with rainbow color lipstick will talk about that pico gram, true fans of this sport know Jones sits alone as the pound for pound best ever.
