Academy CB502 CB27/81 UK FM CB radio - repair & alignment

- Radio kindly sent in as a gift from a viewer. Thank you.
This radio is Great (Taiwan) GT868, from 1981. It presents for repair with no transmit & no receive. Spoiler alert ; more than one fault.
This chassis is 3.5W rated, not 4W. In the end I ended up with 3.6W.
These radios are prone to bleedover, but work fine in a rural are like I live in.

Yes, you would think that with no tx or rx, the common denominator would be the PLL circuitry. Not so with this repair.

Talk about returns there was 'that' container of radios found somewhere abroad and everyone jumped on it thinking 'brand new, unused' etc, turns out some even had missing PLL chips!
I didn't here that one. I know there is a warehouse in France stacked with Sony Betamax C5 viceo recorders from 1980.
