Love the collection! I just started this year with some rarer Clase Azul bottles on the mezcal side and just got my first Remy Louis XIII to start on the cognac side. I am now very interested in the Richard Henny!

The best cognac I'e tasted so far is Henessey Bagnolet. I recently bought a Martell Cordon Bleu Extra.

Is the older bottle Hennessy Paradis with the metal top taste better than the current one with the glass top? I heard some people say the older bottle has more of the older blends.
thats one hellova collection sir... ive came across a vid of this reputable dude who had done his homework on Cognacs and the guy mentioned that Hennessy is one of the large cognac companies out there that uses additives such as sweeteners, color, and flavors to their cognacs. their reason to adding these in there is to keep consistant with their colors and flavors. loads of smaller company brands do not do this to their cognacs. but i envy ur collection sir and cant help but wonder what do collectors do for a living to be able to buy multiple expensive bottles of such.

@@kenvietle5987 bro, i guess im in the wrong business.. might need to change professions soon so i can have a collection like urs..lol.. also, i would love for you to make a vid comparing all your best cognacs vs a Tesseron Lot 29 and see which ones rated best in your opinion since u seem like someone how tasted some high end stuff. what ive found out are cognacs are all made from grapes and depending on the crop, it could alter the taste of each year. this is also why some companies chose to add additives to keep flavors consistant over the years. as mentioned earlier, and im not tryin to knock on any brand but guys like Remy, Henny, and Martell are known to add these stuff to keep the taste consistant. I would bet that the Tesseron Lot 29 will beat out all the best one you have but im just not sure since there are many of what u have that i cannot afford..lol.. i to have been drinking Remy and Henny for a long time but this Tesseron, which is also my sleeper, happen to be the best ive tasted. im slightly torn between even mentioning this because i just dont want their price tag to jump to high, trying to keep it a secret since i love it so much...lol but i do want to see how this fare vs other big dogs.
@@mohavie2360 yes one day once they're all opened .. atm they're all nicely sealed for visual collection purpose , since i made the video i have added a lot more features n bottles .. i'll try n find the time to update my video collection.. thank you

I have over 10 bottles of imperial hennessy many years ago. I can't remember how much did I pay. I don't drink at all. Yead it just sits in the cabinet. Sorry I have no intention to sell.
I don't know about top ten liquor collection, but definitely top 5 Brandy collection

Do you know why some Louis XIII especially the more recent bottle the fill looks about half a shot less than bottle from about years ago?

@@kenvietle5987 I don't know but half a shot is a lot of money. I think the new lift off box is not as expensive looking as the sliding door, maybe Remy cost cutting?
@@simonc4764 i feels so too at first .. but the sliding box damage really easy.. the new box have that mirror .. more luxury looking .. neat and compact ..
@@kenvietle5987 Maybe more convenient to access the bottle but it look cheaper to make. It uses a bag instead of outer box casing. The booklet also look cheap. Remy has kept the sliding door packaging for the more expensive 1.5 litre Magnum so obviousely it thinks it is more luxurious.

@@kenvietle5987 you the expert lol I haven't sold anything outside of my country,( Cape Town South Africa)so I'm not sure how it works, maybe you could suggest a method we both would be comfortable with. I have been very afraid of just selling to anyone as I know the value of what I have, they have been with me for around 7+ years but I see your love and appreciation for the craft so I'm willing to trust negotiate. I could send you some pictures of them.
Spoke to my husband and he says 6K for both if you're interested..I'd much rather just do something meaningful with the money than have it gather dust. If you still interested.

i jzt ask around whenever any of my friends fly internationally... u find the best deal for them at duty free store inside the airport... other than that most stores don't carry them..

You seem to have brandy from the big four cognac brand. Most Asians seems to go with the big name label but connoisseurs mostly avoid the big four and don't believe they are as good for the price.
collections wise.. yes.. drinking wise... it's a bit expensive.. 200-300$ range would do jzt fine ..

@@simonc4764 taste-wise i can't tell you because i have tried imperial henny yet.. regular paradise i have .. pretty smooth.. big price different and rareness.. much harder to find imperial bottle ... 1k vs 4k..
@@kenvietle5987 I've seen Hennessy Imperial on UK website but it is the older version not the newer Imperial 2.0 which you can no longer buy.
