but didnt dazai say the physical touch thing couldve been a way to mislead us?
yeah Dazai says it could have been Hawthorne's blood bullet ability so when anyone came in contact with Fyodor they would die. He made him give him the bullets so he could deceive people into thinking his ability activation was through touch (Hawthrone was working with Fyodor ever since Moby Dick fell so every instance of the fake "Crime and Punishment" matches up). Dazai got tricked by this, so every plan he had against Fyodor was from a distance.

So is this his real body we see in the anime or someone else's body?
Honestly, we don't even know. We know that he had died at least once back in the old ages when Bram was alive. His real body probably was lost centuries ago when he first used his ability. in the anime we don't know who killed him or how long that was. We see a flashback of him looking the same with young Rampo so it's been like a decade since he used his ability up in till now. So where we see him now we don't know whose body that is. When he got into that helicopter he mentioned "That man", so maybe That man is the body Fyodor took over last.

that is 100% not his real body, in fact fyodor's real body should have been lost for like hundreds of years by that point. The better question would be if there's something special with that body like perhaps another ability. Since we have seen that he tends to have ideas of specifically targetting certain people to be his new body to gain their abilities like bram
