3. stanley broke the curse by carrying zero up the mountain

Just heard this today. This song really speaks to me. I have been through a lot in my 24 years on this earth. I'm the survivor of nonstop bullying throughout school (elementary to high school anyways) and the survivor of a suicide. So, this song reminds me that I can and WILL survive. I love this song because it embodies everything I am today. I appreciate ya, Miss Bentley.

It was a good movie for it's age. Not too sure if it's classified as a 4 star now. I used to love it. Now it's one of those movies I watch after a week of binge watching.
It's more like a 5 star
10 stars for me. Only thing that could have made it better would be a topless scene of KKB or the Warden & a few explosions.

You basically answered your own question. It was a different time, ideas were different. Interracial love was one of those things that just wasn't accepted back then. It's still sad but if Sam hadn't been killed then basically the whole story wouldn't have happened. Kate would never have turned to a life of crime, thus leading to Camp Green Lake not existing because there was no treasure to find.
