    Thank you i thought the area of the exhaust fan was 25cm but actually it is 25cm wide

    Finally someone actually explains how to know what size fan you need ....... I'm replacing mine and bunnings have 200mm and 250mm , i measured my old fan and those measurements didn't seem to match anything as i was thinking hole size or outer measurement of the actual unit . This guy actually tells you "measure the FAN BLADES !! Thanks and well done sir .

      Thanks, glad it helped, rather puzzling when you go shopping for a fan and hope it fits because you don’t usually take the fan down until you are replacing it

    My friend house HPM exhaust fan is 250mm

    This Hpm fan is 200mm wide
