True and that not just Airbus, but it gives competitors a better chance to compete against Boeing and competition is good.
Just as Boeing is the only US based manufacture of commercial airplanes well we all need to remember this.
The American auto manufactures at one time had tough competition with the Japanese and European car makers, and for the reason why American car companies; where facing the fate that Boeing is facing right now.
Soon the Japanese and Chinese are going after the America aerospace industry.
To say if Boeing keeps going the way they are going, then is going to be replaced by Honda, Mitsubishi, and COMAC.

I would argue that the "Chief Financial Officer" of a major company is by definition a bean counter. The difference is that he and other Airbus executives don't prioritize short term profits or inflating stock prices over literally everything else, but recognizes that in an high tech engineering and manufacturing company there is immense value in having immaculate products. The product lineup and its reputation, the intellectual property, the manufacturing sites, the quality of the engineers and the well trained manufacturing staff are what make the company valuable in the first place.
Boeing fell victim to the typical disease of American companies and prioritized their shareholder value over their actual company. They ran the company like a financial institution instead of an engineering company. Every time they used company funds for stock buybacks to inflate their own share price, instead of investing this money into R&D or quality control, what they did is that they quite literally extracted value from their own company to enrich their shareholders.

People already have a common fear of flying. What’s SUPPOSED to put those fears at rest is the knowledge that flying is incredibly safe due to the high standards of excellence and safety in every step of the process, from the training of the pilots to the construction of the planes to the safety checks before takeoff, and everything in between. Boeing has betrayed that. You CANNOT cut corners when building airplanes. This is something that simply should not and cannot be acceptable, when a single crash can kill 200-300 people in an instant.
Fortunately it looks like at least Airbus have common sense and are willing to continue to uphold those standards where Boeing have fallen short.

That is not true mate and your message is not helpful. I am european (shouldnt matter) and I know americans who will understand it as an insult as if they weren't honest hard working people. The truth is both the american people and the fiancial world (market value) are telling Boeing to change course.
Besides everything in life has its ups and downs. USA decline started time ago (oil wars) bringing the sentiment of need for a change as backlash to that greed and corruption you mention. That is further proof that they want change. But I want to add that your message only fuels binary positions and hatred toward non-americans as it happened with the NATO comments recently. This is very dangerous for the world as many of the poorest americans end up missplacing that sentiment by supporting divisive populist liar dictator wannabes who claim to embody that change (hence the MAGA slogan).

“Dead passengers that don’t affect the stock price don’t matter“, the new Boeing corporation motto! Airbus is jealous! The Boeing corporation has pioneer strict quality control. And by that I mean that the Boeing corporations strictly limits the amount of quality they put into each plane.

The Boeing corporation is striving to be a safe space for investors. At the Boeing corporation, senior management has pledged to make certain that investors never have to fear that engineers will be allowed to put too much quality into their planes. The quality going into the planes of the Boeing corporation is strictly limited by all levels of Boeing corporation management in order to maximize profits.
