Great job...so interesting. Makes me very homesick!
We were just there on September 12th and toured the church and churchyard and cemetery. I have three generations of Eaton’s buried there and located two of the three. I was so excited when you mentioned John Eaton but I’m not sure the exact connection in my family tree. Loving your vlogs. Thanks so much for all your effort!
Fantastic video Phillip, incredible detail and description over the topic, hope to end up on a walk together soon 💙

I loved this video! Thanks a lot for sharing. I was born in Prescot but left when I was 5yrs old. I can still remember things from my time there even though I am now 67! I'm sure many things have changed but I confess I felt a twinge of nostalgia as I watched your video. I'll have to visit again and see for myself I think. Thanks again.
…Hello Jan, many thanks for reaching out. I’m really pleased you are enjoying the videos. A lot has changed indeed, but thankfully not enough to make it unrecognisable. You can still find places in Prescot where the memories come flooding back. I hope you do come back someday and if you do message me and we’ll meet up over a cup of tea and reminisce about Prescot in the sixties 😀🤗🤔😎👌
I hope you do because that’s who you are the ORACLE
I wonder if you Knew my father His name was Norman Black
One day I will make it into one of these videos so far I seen two people I know in this one 😜
🤣 I’ll look out for you Mav 😀
Seeing they recycled the headstones into flagging around the church , what happened to the bodies from when the access road was built . Did they remove & relocate the bodies ? .... Hope they didn't lay the road over them ! .... or did they ? 😱
Hello Miss Purrr-Fect, GOOD QUESTION - yes I did address this in the video. Common practice back in the day was the collect the bones and rebury them into what became known as "Bone Pits". but my understanding of this practice is that only the shallow appointed burials would be removed to allow for sewage pipes and other underground utilities, water, electricity etc. So in theory there could still be bodies under Church Street....I'm unsure if records exist for the 1894 road widening of Church Street, it would be interesting to find out! 🤔🤔
😨😱😱😱. !
"Ecolastical"? . . . . . . those fumes are slipping up the graveyard!!!
