- I would like to share with you my tribute to Henry Cavill for his wonderful portrayal of Geralt of Rivia. Enjoy!

Additionally, I want to share with you my opinion about this show.
As a person who has read all the books and played all the games, I have to say that this show is BAD.
The story has been changed so much (especially after season 1) that it was completely different from the original story... And those showrunners who are absolutely convinced that they faithfully stick to the books :))) All the interracial conflict in this world, which had many backgrounds, many factions, they simplified to the bad ones and the good ones. The witcher's world is not black and white, it is GREY!
Bad-looking costumes (Yennefer wearing H&M), terribly shown relationships between the characters, the whole tragedy of the elves is misrepresented, Ciri and monoliths wtf?! The only characteristic of monarchs is their stupidity, characters casually teleporting to the other end of the continent, cringe scenes (my "favorite" scene is Cahir's execution without a doubt XDD), they did my girl Milva dirty, I may not comment on the appearance of the sorceresses...
There were only a few things I liked about this witcher-like creation. Aside from Henry himself because we all know he's the best, the actresses playing Yennefer and Tissaia did a pretty good job, as does the actor playing Dijkstra, Jaskier's songs, some interesting fight sequences and... that's basically it. I'm not kidding, that's literally everything this show did right imo.
I'll add it at the end. For those who liked the show. It's not like I hate these people or something xD It's just sad because someone else could do it right. Meanwhile, no one will touch it again for a long time, if at all.
So the only reason why I made this edit is kinda obvious. This is how I wanted to say goodbye to Henry Cavil. Oh Henry... they didn't deserve you :(

I've never been a fan of Henry but after the problems with the series and seeing how passionate his approach to the role was, makes me understand that he's a good actor

I admit I wasn't thrilled about his casting at first but Cavill absolutely convinced me with his dedication to the role and love for the source material. Too bad about all that has happened since. Henry will finde something else to amaze us, I'm sure.

Those 3 last episodes were the best , becouse they were most acccurate to the books 😊. Acting was also great. It gives me hope that producers of the series learnt that we don't want their made up bullshit but only what was in the books. It seems the humor and characters are also more book acccurate. I will miss Henry but I'm also full of hope(if they keep up good directing) for the next seasons, even with Liam. 😊

With the song and the edit, this is the most the show has felt like the games.
That's the whole thing. The show didn't feel like games. And through 2 seasons were were given jannisary cacophony instead of some proper music

Henry Cavill is one of the best actors and played Geralt this is Henry's second most awesome role after Superman I hope that Henry will add to his list of roles many more so far Geralt and Superman this was the best role
But still Żebrowski was better as Geralt in series called Hexer from 2001

Netflix production made so little sense that if Geralt at any point had changed his title into Geralt of Ribia it wouldn't have been a surprise for me.
What a fantastic edit. I really wish the show was better, as I love the games and the books! Blood Origin was an absolute travesty. It's probably for the best that Henry Cavill left the show.

Ngl I'd be up for an animated series down the line similar to Castlevania but with Cavil reprising his role and with people who respected the OG source far better. I don't even mind changes but when it's done in arrogance or to simplify it, rather than enhance the themes or expand on them, then it just should be left alone and left to someone who respects the source enough to commit to it. It's part of why I didn't continue past S1 because of the drama and the disrespectful nature of it, at least imo. But I digress. I think this series would benefit a lot with the scope animation could do to properly capture the magic, superhuman swordsmanship and other hard to capture scenes (ciri ice skating scene for example). The exaggeration done with animation would flatter it I think, is basically what I'm trying to say.
This is a great idea, especially since animations have been at a really high level lately. For example, The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf wasn't that bad, I enjoyed watching it thanks to the world presented in animation.
Oh don't even remind me about the ice skating thread because I still can't get over what they did with Rience's character in season 3...
@@jaqenkaeditIt is not that you cannot do amazing stuff in live action. Films like Narnia, Golden Compass (2007) or Arthur and Invisibles and Jurrasic Park proved that you can have amazing realistic CGI. But in order to have it you need a lot of money, well treated animators (Hassan Minaj had a good episode about that so hillarious and sad at the same time what absurds happen there) and a bit of respect for inteligence of your audience. And Netflix most of the time doesn't have that.
