The gluing your socks on your feet one really works. I glued a pair on my feet back in 99’ and have never had one slip. Kinda sucks after a shower to have wet socks but hey you gotta take the good with the bad, amirite!

Are you sure you're not farsighted? I think these work mostly with people who are near sighted like myself. If I try to read anything more than a foot or so away, I can't see it. Using the phone allows you to read things further away by zooming in on it and bringing the text into your field of vision. Kind of neat.

I wear glasses and this actually works... It isn't a replacement for glasses, but if you didn't have them for some reason it could be a temporary way to read something. I thought it was strange until I tried it.

If her pants ripped when she bent over, they were too tight to begin with... stapling them together just makes the staples pop open causing more ripping and holes haha!

As a fellow girl who struggles with sweat, instead of Deodorant, which just prevents odor, if you're having trouble with sweat, I recommend an Antiperspirant. It helps with sweat and smell. You can't use liners for all shirt styles.
Okay, but you shouldn't cut knitted things like that hat without sewing the cut edge with a more secure stitch (zig-zag or serging). It might work for the day, but the entire thing with unravel with time.

I wouldn't throw them out if they were in good condition, just to small. I donate mine. That way, I don't waste them, and someone who does fit them and can't afford to get new pants, they can use the pants that don't fit me.

The rubbing alcohol will damage the film on the glasses over time by eroding it. Cleaning your glasses like that will mean you will have to buy a new pair more often.
