When hand pollinating, the easiest way I could distinguish male from female flower is to look for a tiny watermelon at the base of the flower. Only a female flower would have it.
I'm sorry to hear that. It has been our problem as well even with winter pumpkins. A couple reasons we were given by our local garden centre were inconsistent watering (over or under watering) and calcium deficiency. I didn't apply any calcium enriched fertiliser but we did get a lot of rain that summer we grew these watermelons. We tried to cover the plant with plastic sheets (with some holes to let air in) during heavy downpours, removing the covers as soon as rains stopped. It's all trial and error for us at this stage. Wishing you the best on your gardening ❤
I had that problem as well. I didn't think it was due to the size of the container but to the fact we had several unusually cold and wet spells during summer. Watermelons are warmth loving plants.
We are sorry we do not sell the seeds. I had a look at some options for you from Australian and Singaporean websites but didn't find any. However the Amazon UK website seems to be able to deliver to Indonesia. You can try checking that out.
This is the Amazon UK link, not sure if this will work: www.amazon.co.uk/Watermelon-Sugar-Baby-Seeds-Vegetables/dp/B09VY1LSJF/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?crid=UG6JZUMBNTO8&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.aONXexnLRcl2nkW8Wuk85CQBSx5fc08719jN1AhBGXX_DhnFra9Q9vLOru32MkaZAmONH_jsrC15cCn6w-X8T9myWkpLrDWU2HmKNkX0bJ8.9I1ngazHIwQR6pfFDha4qofXoadnE2lCA8ooT6zW6es&dib_tag=se&keywords=sugar+baby+watermelon+seeds&nsdOptOutParam=true&qid=1730744296&sprefix=sugar+baby+watermelob%2Caps%2C346&sr=8-1

My marble size melons always rot. How do you progress beyond that?
