Oh wow there you go! Thanks Iam... that's just more and more evidence piling on to believe everything Bob says to always be true haha! Thanks for the insights :)
Thanks Andy! I can now finally say I've seen a hand lion! Haha I googled it last night and wasn't sure if the Roaring Lion was the same thing or something different :D
Thanks for the directions TRIG! Now I've finally seen one in action haha. I was waiting for the lick and strike haha, this one seems to kinda roar and it looks like blow out a bit of smoke? Lol maybe Im just seeing things..
I don't know if you've heard of the comedian, Henning Wehn before, but his stories on this show are so hilarious and, as far-fetched as they sound, they're usually true. Definitely worth checking him out.
Thanks Geo! We did our first Henning video a couple weeks ago, when he was on Interpol's missing persons list.. so funny! I'm definitely keen to check out more of his soon.. Appreciate the suggestion, cheers!
Would it be fair to say the hawk's looking a bit more plausible?" lol Lee cracked me up with that one. I hope you've done the 'This Is My...' with Lee's Aussie accent.
I've only just been told about Aussie accent This is My clip! I've put it high on the list so we'll definitely be checking it out soon :) This is My is my favourite part of WILTY!
@@filmslate - Yes, mine too. They make for a slightly different kind of experience, but still very enjoyable, when you rewatch them already knowing the answer.
Amazingly enough, someone uploaded a video of the actual Hand Lion toy to RUclips years before this episode even debuted: ruclips.net/video/CY4bGJJD_hQ/видео.html
Ohhh that sounds very appealing! I'll have to check it out... is it as funny out of context? Or would it be better to check out whole taskmaster segments with Bob in them instead?
@@filmslate I’d recommend while taskmaster challenges because the wackiness is emphasized when you see how other people perform the task. Still, any Taskmaster is better than none. Hope you enjoy.
@@BasilLecher Awesome thanks Basil.. we just filmed out first taskmaster reaction.. the infamous potato throw, I'll cut that video together in the coming days! Can't wait to see more :D

@@PHDarren Hey Darren! Just had a look then, yep! I think I overlooked it yesterday, for some reason I was expecting it to be called "Hand Lion" so i thought the Roaring Lion was something else haha
His teacher name is also real and was one of Bobs favorite teacher, they hanged out together regularly until he passed away at an old age.

I no speaking English goods. Let’s hanged out
I've been watching Bob Mortimer since the late 90s but my favourite ever bit from him is just the short pause and then .... "WOLF".
The Hand Lion is real.
Called the Roaring Lion, and it was made in the 50s by Rosko.
A RUclips channel called pdq328 has uploaded a video of one.

@@filmslate I believe the strike/lick action is Bob's poetic license.
@@andy2950 Haha yep, that's sounding much more plausible now :D

the cat you mentioned is known as a 'Maneki Neko' and if it has a raised or waving paw, it brings good luck
Oh nice one, thanks! That name doesn't familiar at all, I don't think I've ever heard it before! Appreciate the info :) Happy New Year!

On one of the others he mentions a Steve Bytheway.I looked up his name and a Steve Bytheway does live Middlesbrough.
I’m here again 😂. Jon Richardson’s story on this episode is hilarious too. It has something to do with a clown.
Nath! Welcome back :) I'd like to do a Jon Richardson story! Such a big fan of his from Cats Does Countdown, will be fun! I'll have a look for it!
Happy new year y'all🎉🎉
Big Happy New Year to you too mate! Hope all is well and exams are treating you right!

There it is! Thanks for the link Thande! Is the lion either licking or striking in that video? I cant tell haha.
Lee Mack is not his real name, it's Lee McKillop.
That totally makes sense that Lee Mack is a stage name and yet somehow I never questioned it haha! Thanks for the insights Jack!
@@filmslate In fact, neither is Rob Brydon, it's Robert Jones. Brydon is his middle name.
