- I've always really enjoyed this song, especially the bookends. The Wizard of Oz/general fairy tale theme it has to it ended up working very well in concert with a lot of RWBY's story elements.
I don't own RWBY and it is the property of Rooster Teeth. The song is No Place Like Home by Marianas Trench.

5:27 when the scenes of RWBY team and show, through the years, dang that got me, that was such great timing and scene choice. Such a beautiful AMV I loved it so much ❤️

Truly, remarkable. This song jumps through at least five to six emotional states and varying beats and styles. You did an amazing job capturing each one masterfully. My favorite part was the "Another day on the Assembly line!" Showing a would-be initiated Maiden Pyrrha, then Oz with the first refrain of "Would of, should of, could of," followed by Raven, and then finally Salem. A great use of muted color imagery to draw focus and strengthen the theme that each one is trapped in the refrain of "There's no place like home". Oz and Salem has grown too comfortable in their game and Raven tries as hard as she can to avoid playing it.
And finally the "Toy soldiers will you follow?" In reference to Team RWBY. What an amazing piece of work; you are always at the top of your game on these, well done!

It was amazing to see your rendition of this song! I'm really impressed by all the effort and meticulous editing that clearly went into this, especially at the beat breakdown with INDIVIDUAL SHOTS (oh my god that must have taken so long to find) for each beat at around 5:28. Great work, I loved watching this!

Love the beat around 3:30
Finally found time to watch your AMVs again since classes are finaply over. And wow: a 6 minute AMV. I'm incredibly astounded by how much time and effort you must have spent on this video. (Especially since I know how hard it is to keep a 3 min. AMV going. especially the amount of different clips you would have to use)
Lyrics matched well with the following clips, transitions were, again, flowed very well, and colour saturation was used pleasently.
One word of advice I would give would be the ''leave colour'' effect used at around the 3:30 min. mark. While it's a really useful effect, I noticed that background colours which matched the colour you were trying to only show were left in. I believe the effect does give you an option to mask the area in which you want to keep the colour as is, while the rest would be black and white. Perhaps you could try using that the next time you use said effect?
Nevertheless, very well done. Your AMVs continuously are an inspiration for my own AMVs and a drive to keep on working on them.

Firstly, thank you for such an analytical comment as this. Always nice to get those.
Secondly, you're absolutely right that I could've masked out the background colors and kept the characters colors in, but the thing is... I got lazy. Also, my aim wasn't so much to only have those characters have that one color, but just to desaturate every other color so it was the only one.
This AMV was definitely an exercise in stamina, because of how long it was, but I feel like it turned out how I wanted it to. I'm glad you liked it!

Man, this season started out so strong. Salem and Ozpin's backstories really made me hope RWBY would pick up again.
Aaaaand then the last 3 episodes happened...
I agree the last 3 were a let down but im holding out hope, I think the team is finally finding their feet since monty passes, unfortunately rwby won't get as much attention as other shows since its available for free on the rooster teeth website
