I just saw the movie. After reading several negative postings, I went into the theater expecting a less than good movie. However, now that I've seen the movie, I thought it was quite good. Of course, it's not Amy, but I thought Marisa did a great job as Amy. The movie took us through her life and I liked the portion of Nan and their interactions because she played such an instrumental role in Amy's life. Marissa's singing was very good. Marisa doesn't have the depth and richness of Amy's voice. Very, very few will ever come close to Amy's gift of her voice. But I thought Marisa did a great job.
I highly recommend everyone who loves Amy to see the movie. I want to see it again.
