    I appreciate the actual woodworking videos. Seeing build videos is a nice change of pace from the tons of other woodworking youtube channels that focus too much on tools and sponsored junk. Keep up the great work.

    Totally agree about actually projects being done. Tired of those that started this way and then sold themselves to tool reviews, sadly they get unsubscribed.

    Looks good Wes ! I like that the set back on your support frame and the tapered blocking gives some subtle shadow lines. Small thing that often gets forgotten.

    It's a great project it's got a Chinese style look about it wonderful for a Chinese garden i would paint it red

    If it's for me, often I, too, will "wing it." OTOH, when it's for a client I definitely go through a planning stage especially using a cad-cam program to help the client visualize what they are asking me to build. Like what you do. Borrowing some of your processes to make my life easier.

    I don't think there is an actual name for those "Feathers" left behind by the saw blade. I also remember my father calling them feathers too. He taught me about woodworking when I was a teen in the early 80's.
