- No learning, No Respect. This type of bullying and attempted Intimidation cannot continue.
Filming from a public place is Not a Crime and therefore the Police should Not try to invent ways of bending Laws. They should also be abiding by their own Policies and Procedures when dealing with members of the Public. This content will show how low some officers will go (even though the police officers are being filmed) to abuse their assumed position of Power.
The fact this Police Sergeant tells so many untruths from the very start and ends with a vile outburst shows how dangerous he can be.
A wolf in sheep's clothing. His perceived friendly approach and false smile soon turns into a bullying rant and him piling his outrageous and shameful opinions to try and criminalise my filming, to try and facilitate a false arrest.
Also the Metropolitian Police need to sort out this Thin Blue Line De-barkle. The badge is Not uniform issue and the policy states that it Should Not be worn on a Uniform. It is disrespectful towards members of the public and it also shows that those officers who are wearing it cannot show impartiality. We also see this in the video content when the WPC blindly agrees with her colleague.
Her focus is not on the legal aspect of my activity but immediately rants on about why am I filming just because of what her colleague is saying. When challenged about her Thin Blue Line Gang Badge she also becomes defensive and also starts to tell untruths.

I believe at one time there was an annual fit for duty test, but was dropped because it discriminated against fat, unhealthy police officers. But rather than get rid of fat unhealthy officers, we embraced them and dropped the need to test, creating more fat unhealthy officers.

This video is an example of the public losing respect for the police force. And it seems for good reason. Seeing how this sergeant is behaving, there doesn't seem to be any hope. The other officers are of the same caliber. They have no idea what to do and try various accusations, mentions the terrorist act, although it is not relevant here. They are powerless and have not understood that the only cure for the pressure from the citizens is to start behaving properly and respectfully. When you see how groups of officers look up to young people in the street scene, and surround them, page them and let them go, without giving any reason. Any reasonable person would feel offended, but the police act like it's no big deal and move on to the next thing.
The only way the police can regain the citizens' respect is to behave properly and respectfully towards the citizens. It's that simple, when it's said, they must of course be properly educated so they know what they're talking about. It also seems to be a hopeless project, it's not just the young cops, but certainly the experienced cops as well. They are so. trained in deception and lies that they walk it without blinking - every day. So we have to get to the top of the police, this is where the culture starts and this is where we have to put in the work. A reasonable person is employed, not an officer and lawyer who has worked his way up in the system - this does not make any changes. Brand new ones are needed. It's that simple.

The problem is all cops have nothing but contempt for the public, right or wrong, if they tell you to do something, they EXPECT/DEMAND you do as you're told, regardless, if you don't (again rightly or wrongly) you are the one causing the trouble (if you had just done as you were ordered....)
@@paulraper1 There are many problems, one of which is that police officers go together. It gives them the strength and belief that they can carry out any action they want to initiate. If they walked around the city or drove individually, they showed that they had to handle the situation alone. And therefore they would have to negotiate and be careful when confronting the citizen. It would make for a much better police force and a much more relaxed relationship between police and citizens.
When we look at this sergeant contacting the auditor, it goes wrong from the start. the sergeant cannot dominate the auditor from the start and this frustrates him. He talks like he's innocent and ignorant and he says he's polite.
It's a facade he puts on, he uses polite words, but his intention is anything but polite. He fires off various accusations, he wants to be alone, he wants to approach the audio tower with much more caution. He would go much further and he would be able to have a polite dialogue. His behavior sets the opposite in motion. He is backed up by a colleague who just raps and lets his mouth run, with monses and nonsense.
If the police toned down their roles, behaved politely and waited to spew orders until they had a proper basis to intervene with a citizen, then there would be a more relaxed interaction and. so that the citizen respects the police. It's a vicious circle, but it's up to the police to break the vicious circle.
They lost the respect of the people when they decided that they would disrespect the public. Its a two way street and they initiated the change.

Someone swallowed a law dictionary. Everything he said was crap.
1) videoing an officer is not “interference”. That’s a positive act, always involves physical contact.
2) Threatening behaviour ???… as you were pushed back that’s assault (not battery).
3) Politeness is a given. Not a passport for police illegality. He can only seize the phone if there’s BEEN. A criminal offence. Stating “PACE I have the power” isn’t enough. The badge is a policy breach not a criminal matter. Plod lied - as usual.
4) GDPR. Breach. We all know that. Plod still don’t.
5). Plod abandoned his car - an obstruction. A pedestrian can’t cause an obstruction on a pavement whilst walking. Plod lying again.

The incompetence of the police in the U.K. is embarrassing. If these goons slightly spent less time harassing photographers and spent less time implementing the governments political orders then they’d possibly be able to reduce crime.
I think group gatherings with cameras on these stations should happen.

His ego matches his size, he thought he was gonna be funny and have an ego top up by intimidating a member of the public comitting NO CRIME, just coz he thought he could. The worst part of the incident is that three other officers didn't even try to correct him OR calm him down and de escalate. These are the scum that would have you think of them as heroes and demand our respect. Why do they consistantly try to bully people and lie about the laws and what exactly takes place, THAT'S why he wanted the phone so bad.

Just when we thought the police had learnt their lesson about interacting with photographers outside police stations, along comes these 2.
Just goes to show that the apparent improvement that we've seen in that time was - probably - just papering over the cracks. And the actual substance of the police, their culture, their mentality; still stinks.
The more videos we have of their behaviour, the better.
If I'm ever called for jury duty, I will bear these videos in mind when police are called as witnesses. Because it's clear that they are as likely to lie / exaggerate / mis-remember as the accused. I'd also regard them as liable to do spiteful things to enforce their feelings, such as planting evidence.
The days of the good honest professional bobby are long gone. If they ever existed. Which they may never have, as we didn't have mobile phones with cameras in the old days...
