Wooje Chang "Reduced Torque" can be avoided with some lock either contracting against the individual roller's shafts, or expanding from the main wheel against the rolls.

However, with reduced torque that may not be worth compensating for. Although this does give more power than regular omni, you are probably better off using regular tank drive...
