      It’s really helpful to see the footage from the air so the concepts are reinforced. Makes it easier to recognize from the sand when your walking when you have an idea of what the wave action is telling you.

    Great episode bro! Structure scouting with drones? Yup this is the future lol. I love drone footage, it's so dope. Fishing near around those rip currents can be productive as it pulls everything back out. Monica is awesome for releasing her first fish on a lure too and her reason why is pure wisdom - balance the numbers. Great work everybody, another great day at the beach. Wonder what you guys will be eating next episode lol jk

    seems like the perch are a lot bigger up your way. I occassionally get a 10 to 12" fish in the summer. Almost no action in the winter, except baby perch right at the water/sand boundry. How far out are you able to cast one of those jerk baits? Haven't been able to get any action on a lucky craft at all; not sure if I am not casting far enough or just can't get the action right as is is tumbling in the waves. Caught a few yellow fin croakers on a small Rapala Husky Jerk back in late fall. Only action recently has been on sand crabs. Drone footage and sketches are great. Thanks

    • @Hook2Cook
      @Hook2Cook  4 года назад

      Yellow fin croaker sound fun! We’re very fortunate to have a great perch fishery up here for sure. More arial footage to come for sure.
      In regards to casting, we’re maxing our at 60 yards with the right rod and reel. Salmon steelhead rods with a 3000 series reel is ideal for the half oz jerkbait. We have some suggestions on kit.co/hook2cook
