Oh the drama and the technical jargon....I just can't resist!🤣 The owl is stunning and I would love to see more ceramic pieces decoupaged. That little birdhouse chime was so cute. I have several little birdhouses and never know what to do with them. This was such a great idea and I have some beautiful napkins that will be perfect. I wanted to mention that I discovered if you iron your napkins, it almost completely removes that perforated textured edge. I learned that when I ironed a wrinkle out of a napkin.

You can press the edge of napkins to get rid of the "bubbles" caused by embossing the plies together. I press mine before use.
Plus, the big napkin you used on the owl is a Guest napkin.

Hi Brandi. The birdhouse windchime is adorable. To paint the half-round wood beads I put down a piece of painter's tape (sticky side up) and then tape the ends down so it doesn't move. Put the beads on top of the painter's tape and have at it without them moving around. The owl is spectacular. Thank you for sharing all your tutorials, tips, tricks, and techniques. TFS Lyn

@@thediystruggle, unfortunately I’m in a rural area in Georgia and I think all the ones around us get the leftovers. 🤣🤣. I have gotten where decoupage is probably my favorite thing to do, I have good luck with the iron on method. Still got a lot of practicing to do though, but it’s so relaxing to me.

I was always wondering if the napkins you use had that bumpy edges. Almost every napkin I get has the bumpy edge on it, and it drives me nuts 🤪. Thank you for another decoupage diy. I liked them all, but my favorite is the truck one. Thank you for the time you put into doing them. Please thank your family for sharing you with us. ❤️
The bumpy edges are from the factory embossing the plies together. I simply press all my napkins before using them.
