Hopefully Necromancy is the thing that make aod easy to get into. It has always seemed like a large part of the existing aod community either doesn't want new blood in it or expects learners to be nigh perfect right out of the gate.
Part of the difficulty with getting into AoD is that the kills fall apart pretty quickly if someone doesn't know what they are doing, hopefully necromancy reduces that need with threads of fate doing most of the heavy lifting for grouping activities and what is expected out of minion tanks is lower.
You may want to consider trying it at solak. I’m by no means playing perfectly and I’ve already gotten a 5:00.6s solo after 4 hours of attempts . I think a sub 4:40 is possible

A death guard. The upgradeable weapon and the omni guard have different specials, so you want to be able to use both.
