Dil and son leave and tell op that they're staying at Dil's parents house. Op's friend Mike does investigative work on son and finds out that son planned on extorting op for his wealth with the accusations of being inappropriate to Dil. Op confronts them and kicks them out of his life

OP sounds like a nice guy who might have been savvy about business but he sure was a pushover for his son and DIL. And for FOUR YEARS? Coulda-woulda-shoulda be pushing those two to remember 'temporary' got too long after 6 months... ok, be generous, one year. But you sure should not have been supporting their lifestyle!
