Like the writers were sick of writing for family guy and it was a chore for them, and it probably is. It’s one of the many reasons I think the show is so bad rn
People who don't understand satire wouldn't understand that it's just a huge exaggeration and would legitimately end up hating people because of it. It's not writing jokes like that which makes shows like the Simpsons good. And south park is good because it goes completely the other way and is just like 'fuck it who cares if someone misinterprets the joke.' if you watch south park and go 'yeah all of this is extremely real and happens in real life situations' then you have the iq of a lump of coal
