I followed this method exactly, and they're simply not staying in. No amount of heat or pressure is working. The size of the holes is not the issue, but rather the pegs aren't long enough to get inside them. If I squeeze any harder, I fear I'm going to break the vest. I'm totally exhausted trying to put clothes on a toy.
That’s nice and all, but the end user shouldn’t have to go through all of this to place an accessory on an action figure. That’s especially true when you have the potential to break the figure. I would recommend using small strips of Velcro cut to fit the vest if you don’t want to glue it in place.
Like I said on Facebook. Thanks for sharing. No product is perfect but it’s good for Valaverse to see this kinda stuff so I’m the future this is something they can work on, improve.
So let me get this straight. I need a dialater, a dehydrator, and a long nose plier to get this removable vest on while also taking the figure apart? So does valaverse offer a kit that includes all this equipment free of charge? Lol.
Wish I saw this when my shipment came in, I shaved the peg holes a little with an hobby knife and was able to get the vest on and the pegs pop in and out easier now but this looks like the vest will stay put once in, luckily I've only put the vest on one figure and decided not to do the same with my other ones.
Glad that its possible, but definitely not ideal and hopefully Bobby fixes this in the future waves 3 or 4 whenever they can catch up to it with production.
Jeepers!!! What is the point of having a removable vest if when you put it on the figure it hinders all that wonderful torso articulation!!!! I left the vests on Condor and Bone Collector alone, but, the Urban Trooper was a challenge to put the vest on!!!! The poseability suffers on these guys, just like on The Classified guys, unless you remove the vests...Hmmm, Stuck in a Paradox!!!! Better to have options then not have solid action Figures!!!! Thanks for the reveal, I will be able to utilize that procedure going forward!!! Peace!!!
@UCwqk_wSZO_Ey9s-89Me6Rgw I know. I'm just torn between having great torso articulation and having to cover it up with a combat vest...but, they look awesome!!!! Like I said...It's good to have options!!!! Either way, I am enjoying the line!!!!!
The Valaverse figures offer waaay more articulation with vests on than the classified Joe’s. The issue I’m having is this is too much work for interchangeable vests
Thank you for this! If you heat up the vest with the figure you can put it on without taking off the head or arms, and it’s 10x easier to get the mushroom pegs in. Didn’t even need the pliers 🍻
@@thetrasharoundmyplastic6342 yep I'm lazy because the removable swappable vest requires 18 simple tools and boiling water in order to easily put on the vest. How about making a product that actually works like its supposed to, seems pretty lazy to let that pass quality control.
